I’ve had someone reach out to me with a Calendly link that requires me to log in to be able to book an appointment.

1st issue: once i click the link and try to log in with my Google account - it says my personal email address is invalid.

2nd issue: the person who sent the link claims that “The Calendly link I shared is specifically set up for X Company” and requires authentication to ensure a secure scheduling process”.

I am concerned this is being used as a phishing attempt.

Can you please comment on the validity of the process and claims above. Are these real scenarios that Calendly supports?

Thank you!

Hi @eliza15720 - Thanks for reaching out.

This definitely sounds like a phishing attempt unless they’re using some tool to setup link verification.

I’d recommend reaching out and reporting this to our support team at support@calendly.com - They’ll be able to look into this securely and confirm whats going on. In the meantime, I would advise against using that link.

Let me know if you have any questions!
