I am looking for advice or a way to limit the number of same type of meeting that can be scheduled in a row.  I don’t want to limit by day, just no more than 2 of a particular meeting type in a row.

Unfortunately Calendly does not support the kind of dynamic availability settings your are describing. This is a good idea however and I have marked it as such in our system. I’ll make sure our product team reviews this post.
