Hello!
I use Calendly mostly for sales: I have a couple round-robin events with several sales representatives in them, and users can book calls with them using Calendly.
It's in the sales people best interest to have the most number of open slots possible, so that leads have more options to choose when booking a call. However, sales calls are quite taxing mentally, so doing more than 3 or 4 in a given day is exhausting.
What's the problem? That sometimes a sales representative will get booked 7 calls in a day, because he had 8 different time slots opened, and maybe those reservations came in when he was sleeping or didn't have the phone with him, so he didn't have time to close the remaining spots after he got the first 4-5 reservations. So now he is over-booked.
Right now, Calendly let's you establish a max number of reservations of a given event type per day/week/month. However, it doesn't let you establish a limit FOR A GIVEN PERSON.
So, what I’m missing is a setting that lets me do something like:
- I want Sales Person A to do get a maximum of 5 calls booked per day and a maximum of 20 per week (after he reaches this number of booked calls, his remaining available spots won’t show up in the calendar; however, if someone cancels, they will show up again until he reaches the max number)
- Also, I want Sales Person B, who is junior, to start slow, and do max 2 per day and max 8 per week
(Just an example)
Right now, that's not possible. I can only limit
the total number of booked events per day of a certain type, which is not very useful for round-robin events with multiple users in the same calendar.
