Hello,

We’re trying to add our Meta Pixel (now called at Dataset) to our Calendly account and it is not being accepted. I noticed that it is 2 digits longer than other meta pixels in our facebook account and wonder if this might be why Calendly is not accepting the longer number.

I was hoping that Calendly knew about the longer dataset numbers vs the shorter pixel numbers.

Thanks

Hi @John87052 - Thanks for reaching out.

I had to do some digging online on this since this is the first time I’ve heard of the new Datasets - Based on Meta’s help center you should still be able to create a Meta Pixel ID by following these steps: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/952192354843755?id=1205376682832142

The steps are as follows:

Set up the Meta Pixel and events on your website

  1.  Go to Meta Events Manager.
  2. Click Connect data and select Web.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Enter a name for your pixel, then click Create pixel. This creates a new ID, viewable in Events Manager. Note: Events from your Meta Pixel are shared to a dataset, which groups events from different sources. Your new dataset ID is the same as your new pixel ID. Learn more about datasets.

Could you let me know if these steps produce the same thing? Or if they allow you to create a new Pixel to connect with Calendly?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
