Calendly minimum booking time notice—with no option to set workdays—means people can book on Saturday and Sunday—this is far from ideal!

I have just had, on a Saturday, somebody book a meeting for Monday.  I had set 24hours notice to book.   Is it possible to put 24 working hours notice?

Currently not possible to do working hours

  • is there any other workaround,  other than change the minimum booking time to 72 hours (at end of play on a Friday )?

There is this on the Calendly community portal  - Add workday as an option to event notice settings | Community

🙄 wne I posted this I got

how about that ability for us users!!

“We’re out for the weekend!  minimum booking is  24 working hours“

and, clicking on the read more: how about that includes pre-moderation option :

Count on pre-moderation being enabled during weekends, U.S. holidays, but also other select times based on company requirements.

Hi @Christoffer36327 - Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately this feature is not built within the Product at this time, but this is a great idea to add.

Could you tell me more about your specific case? Do you want to prevent bookings from being created over the weekend and ensure users can only create bookings that are scheduled Monday-Friday? I’d like to include as much information as possible when I send this over to our product team, so the more feedback the better!

thanks.  that is shame its not available, yet.  is it on a roadmap with any ETA?

I have already set up Calendly so that:

  • People can only book 2-hour coaching sessions on certain weekdays, avoiding my admin days and weekends.
  • A 24-hour notice is required, meaning no one can book a 2-hour session less than 24 hours in advance. This ensures that by the end of each day, I know what coaching sessions are scheduled for the next day.
  • Other types of shorter meetings or question sessions can be booked with less than 24 hours' notice.

What I want to happen:

I want to prevent people from booking a 2-hour coaching session on a Saturday or Sunday for Monday.

Why this matters:

Without this restriction, I could arrive at my desk on Monday morning and find a 2-hour coaching session scheduled first thing—one that I wasn’t aware of when I finished work on Friday.

Thanks for sending all of this information @Christoffer36327 - I’ll be sure to get all of this over,  hopefully we can see something like this in the future!
