My overrides show up in my Availability, I can see them but my students cannot. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Gary71740,

Thanks for reaching out!

What you’re seeing usually means the override was added in one place, but your students are booking through a different event type or schedule.

A few things to check:

  • Make sure the schedule with those date-specific hours is assigned to the event type your students are using - often times users will update availability but it’s not applied to the particular Event Type their attendees are looking at

  • If you added availability inside an individual event type, those date-specific hours only apply to that one event type.

  • Check whether a holiday block, meeting limit, minimum notice, or a busy event on your connected calendar is still making that time unavailable.

The quickest way to confirm the cause is:

  1. Open the event type your students are using

  2. Select Preview

  3. Click Troubleshoot at the bottom

  4. Pick the date/time that should be available. Calendly will show exactly what’s blocking it.

If this doesn’t work, feel free to provide some more details. Or, you can reach out to our Customer Support team at support@calendly.com or via the chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen when you’re logged into the Calendly platform. You can say “agent” and you’ll be connected to a human support agent who can directly walk you through troubleshooting steps based on your account.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Allie
