A lot of job interview scams are happening on linkedin, I recently received a legit looking calendly link.

However on booking a slot, it asked me for an OTP, i submitted the OTP, is it normal or SUS.

this is the title of the mail: Your verification code to finish booking
sender:

Hey @Sumit18617 - Thanks for checking in!

Yes this is legit! We have verification codes enabled to ensures that invitees have access to the email address they enter, helping reduce spam and confirming the use of valid email accounts.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey @David thanks for the response.

The weird thing is that after submitting the OTP, i did not get any meeting confirmation mail/invite.

This was the link i used to book the meeting: https://calendly.com/<userId>/40min
This url was shared with me from a low trust linkedin profile.

Does it look all legitimate and safe?

Hi @Sumit18617 - So far, it looks like everything you’ve linked is legit and verified. That link format is whats expected with our users.

I would try contacting the host on linked in to see if your booking went through. May be worth retrying the booking for the same time if possible.

Let me know!

Hey @David but the calendly Zendesk support says otherwise, they are saying this is not a valid calendly link.
