Outlook Calendar\Calendly Sync Issue

Calendly shows a successful connection with my specified Outlook Calendar, but is not syncing correctly. My Calendly shows all days available but that isn't reflecting my actual Outlook calendar availability. So, they do not appear to be “talking”. Any suggestions? This is not a paid subscription.

Hi @ICS44156 - Thanks for reaching out.

Just to be clear, are you referring to your Outlook Working Hours? If this is the case, Calendly does not pull this information into the system.

The Calendly<>Outlook Calendar integration allows Calendly to look at any events in your calendar, from there, any events marked as Busy will be blocked off in the booking page. This way another user can’t double book any of those times.

If you’d like to setup your availability inside of Calendly, you can do so here: https://calendly.com/app/availability/schedules

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for the reply.

I think I follow you here. So my thoughts were that Calendly would sync to my Outlook account\calendar to automatically show Calendly days\times based on what is already booked in my Outlook calendar. For example, we use Calendly to allow website visitors to book a consult with us. My hopes were the two systems could sync to show real-time availability based on our Outlook calendar.

So then, you have to manually input availability into Calendly? Maybe I don't completely understand the integration of the two yet.

Perhaps I can set the Outlook side appts (not related to website bookings)  as BUSY, as you stated, and then will reflect that back to Calendly.
