Im looking to override the number of appointments in a day. Sure I display an availability for 8 hours, However I dont want all 8 slots booked, back to back. How do I pause appointments on a particular day, even as appointments are happening. The override is not necessarily based on a set number for the day because that could vary, nor is it a particular person/email. But I’m looking to override, pause, block or stop bookings when I want in real time.
Hi
In your case, there are two things you can try in this case:
- You can try using out Buffers feature - this will allow for extra time to be added between your meetings, so you’re not getting booked back to back all day long. You can read more on how to use these here: How to use buffers
- You can also add Date Specific Hours to a particular day, or make yourself unavailable whenever you need. Just head over to your Availability tab, then select (+ Hours) to mark yourself unavailable:
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks for answering, the buffer may help some. Unfortunately, I dont want to change the specific hours each day, that would get confusing and may cause me to miss appointmnets if someone is making an apoointment 1 week later off the same schedule. I want to monitor and adjust , say when 5 or 6 appointments have be filled up in real time. I would like to pause/ freeze any further appointments. Is that possible?
Hi
There isn’t a way to pause or freeze appointments when certain conditions are met, but I will get this feedback over to our product team so they can review further!
If you have any questions, let me know!
