I’ve been with Calendly for almost 2 years, but as my business has grown, it’s just no longer feasible without recurring meetings.
Two specific use cases I need:
1. A set number of 1:1 meetings (packages).
A) Ideally, it would automatically book the client for the same day/time for the interval selected (weekly, bi-weekly, every Tues & Thur, etc). I don’t want to put it on the client to choose a time for each session. I want to get it on their calendar. Each calendar invite would allow the client to reschedule any conflicts after booking just as with meetings today. If there were conflicts on my calendar, it would automatically book into the next available slot.
B) If automatically booking is not possible, it would still be helpful have a recurring meeting workflow. Such as if clients book Package A Session 1, then they automatically get booking links for the remaining sessions. With this option though, I would need reminders for the client and for me if they don’t book their sessions in a certain period of time so I know which sessions are still outstanding.
C) I saw another post mention a request to offer a pay-as-you-go feature, which I think is great and I could definitely use. A paid-up-front option would also be helpful, but the payment feature is not critical for me as I use a payment link in Stripe so I can offer promo codes. Then I redirect to the Calendly booking page. If you add a payment option for the packages/subscriptions it would be great to have a promo code option. But this is not critical to having recurring meetings. Recurring meetings is critical.
2. An ongoing meeting series for a group where I can add people or remove people over time. For example, I have a recurring meeting every Monday indefinitely for a long-term project. I add people who are working on the project during specific phases but they may rotate or drop off over time. This is less critical as I currently use zoom but it would be nice to have centrally in Calendly and be able to utilize the workflows and reminders.
Are there any updates on getting recurring meetings on the product roadmap?
