Reschedule allowing clients to schedule on unavailable times

I’d had several instances where clients will reschedule their meeting to unavailable days. It never allows them to schedule initially on these days, but it seems to allow it when rescheduling. Is this something I can correct, or a problem with Calendly?

Hi @Annette31402  Thanks for reaching out and providing this. Just to confirm:

  • Are you and your team using Single Use Links when this happens?
  • Are you booking events on behalf of your customers?
  • Does this happen both when the user reschedules & when the host reschedules the meeting?

If you haven’t already, I would also reach out to our support team over chat or email (support@calendly.com) to see if they can look into this as well! They’ll be able to dive a bit deeper into your account.

No, these are not single use links. I typically schedule these meetings for customers, but the reschedule is done by them. I just tried to reschedule someone to a day I have marked as unavailable, and it didn’t allow me to, but I know that on at least 3-4 occasions my customers have rescheduled on unavailable days.

For now my fix is just scheduling “no work” on my connected calendar as if it was a meeting, and I believe this will temporarily solve the problem. But I would still like to get to the root of the problem.

I’ll go ahead and reach out to customer support.

Thanks!
