Rescheduled event doesn't send new invitation to invitee

An invitee rescheduled a meeting. The meeting is definitely shown as “rescheduled by [invitee]” in Calendly, and I received a notification, and the calendar invite changed too (both time and the Zoom link). However the invitee didn’t receive a new calendar invite, or a new Zoom link. How can I stop this happening again?

Just to confirm, did the invitee get any email confirmation that the event was rescheduled, or not? 

In this case, I would suggest reaching out to our support team at support@calendly.com - They’ll be able to look into the deliverability and what might of happened with the event in this case.

This happened to me, too, on January 16, 2026!!  Coincidence???

An invitee rescheduled a meeting. However the invitee didn’t receive a new calendar invite, or a new Zoom link. How can I stop this happening again?

I rescheduled through my host’s “Reschedule” link and I did NOT receive any confirmation so I have to contact my host to find out what time we are meeting because I have no confirmation, no link to add to my calendar, and of course, it doesn’t have any way to connect and show in my own Calendly account, either.
