Question

Round Robin gets super slow when I assign a tenth host

Hello!

The title says it all really: Calendly loads near instantly when I assign 1 to 9 hosts to the round robin but when I add a final tenth, Calendly can load up to 50 seconds and sometimes crash with a server error:

Has anyone else experienced the same loading issue? I need help here.
Thanks!

Hi @jeremy.digifox - Thanks for reaching out.

I haven’t seen anything like this reported recently, so heres a couple of things we can try first:

  1. Does this behavior still occur when using an incognito window?
  2. If you try using a different web browser, does it still run slow?
  3. If you login from a different device, will it still give you an error?

I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my side, so let me know if any of this works!

Hi @David and sorry for the late reply!

I have tried to use incognito mode, it didn’t change a thing. I’ve also tried to use a VPN but no luck.

The context of my issue is not I have experienced this but we - my teammates & many of our leads who were trying to book a call with us - have experienced slow loadings, some of them (me included) resulted in 5xx errors just like my screenshot. All the attemps have been done across differents OS, devices and web browsers so that’s why I thought the issue occurs on the server side (+ the 5xx error showing up).

The only fix I’ve found was to reduce this round robin from 10 to 9 hosts but it’s not a long-term solution as I often need these ten spots (is it limited to 10 for all plans btw? I’d be interested in more).

Hm okay, thanks for checking over all of that!

In this case, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team, we’ve seen issues like this in the past so they will want to take a look from their end. They’ll be able to assist further from there!

You can either chat in or email support@calendly.com
