Single Use link through the browser extension

Hello,

I’d like to report inconsistent behaviour with the Calendly Chrome browser extension regarding single-use links.

Originally, generating a single-use link was a one-click action. Then that behaviour was changed so that users had to go through multiple steps:

  1. Click Single-use link
  2. Confirm event options
  3. Click Generate single-use link

Last week, the extension appeared to revert to the previous one-click behaviour, where clicking the single-use link option immediately generated and copied the link. However, this week it has changed back again to the multi-step process.

This back-and-forth is frustrating and makes the extension feel inconsistent.

For admin-managed event types that are already configured, users should not have to reconfirm settings or be able to modify options every time they generate a single-use link. Those event types are already set up as intended.

The single-use link action should behave the same way as the normal Copy link button: one click to generate and copy the link, especially for preconfigured event types.

Please make this behaviour consistent.

Best regards,
