Sync booked event on someone else calenday

i booked a event on someone else calenday and provided my email ID where i have calendly registered and yet it does now show in my events

Hi ​@BN_Bharat - Thanks for reaching back out.

As of right now, events that you book with other Calendly users will not appear in your calendly account. However, this is something thats being worked on and you should see this feature appear on your meetings page in the coming weeks!

Hi ​@BN_Bharat,

A few things to check:

It’s possible they have the resulting event email set as an ‘add event to calendar’ instead of an event email which means you wouldn’t see it in your events - calendar or Calendly. Check your email for an email from Calendly with an attached .ics or similar.

You might want to check your spam folder and such. Sometimes Calendly confirmation emails get stuck in spam folders.

To clarify the situation:

  1. I used another Calendly user's link to book a meeting.

  2. I provided my email address, which is the same one I use for my own Calendly account.

  3. I received the standard Calendly confirmation email (it's in my primary inbox, not spam).

  4. However, this event does not appear in my Calendly dashboard under "Scheduled Events."

The issue isn't with receiving the calendar invite (.ics file), but with the event's visibility within my Calendly account. As the invitee who also has a Calendly account, I expected this meeting to be tracked on my side as well.

Could you please look into why this syncing isn't happening?

Thanks David, that is great news, there are multiple ecosystems now and even Microsoft now has its booking page, the game need to upped to bring value to user as sync of calendar is one big issue we face to ensure we can sync all our meetings with people using different platforms at one place which is a big challenge for now
