Hi

I have the ‘text reminders’ option switched on for all appointments.

When I’m manually booking in an existing client myself, I’m having to look up their phone number and copy and paste it across in to the booking entry.  Is there an easier way to do this?

I go to the client details and then select to schedule a meeting from there.

Should the phone number be prepopulated automatically when booking in an existing client when you have the text message option switched on? or, if not, is this something that can be done?

Thanks so much in advance :-)

Hi Laura,

I once asked Calendly about this — they don’t plan to make any changes to make it easier to send SMS to clients when we’re booking on their behalf.

Here’s how I’m doing it now (I’m on macOS and iOS, using Safari):

I keep all my clients in my address book (“Contacts”).

When I’m in a meeting and want to book a new appointment for a client, I open the my standard booking page.

When entering the client’s details, macOS allows me to select a contact from my address book — it then automatically fills in the email address and mobile number.

Hope this helps!

Bye

Thanks Werner, I'll see if it will do similar with Google as I have all my contacts stored there as well as on Calendly. Thanks again:-)
