He,

I have the Google Meet option for my appointments.
The people who book an appointment get a link.
But where is my link?   I cant attend the meeting.

Please help.

Hi @Daan75536!

There are two places you should be able to find the link:

  1. Within the location details part of the event on your Meetings page
  2. Or on the event itself within your calendar, also usually under location

Hope that helps!

Thanks @jillian . Those locations I had already found. When I click the link, I see “wait until the host lets you into the meeting”. But I am the host, right? And I can’t find anywhere to actually start the meeting. What’s the best solution here?

Hi @Daan75536 - Thanks for reaching back out.

Most of the time when we see this either:

  1. Google doesn’t see that you’re signed into the account that created the link
  2. You might be signed into a different account.

You can double check which account created the event by checking your Calendar Settings page. Whatever is set as the Add to Calendar usually is the one that creates the meeting.

He!

Thanks for the answer.
But the Google Meet and the Calendly are both on the same e-mail address.

I hope you have more tips

Hi @Daan75536 - Right, so the next thing to check is to make sure your Google Calendar integration is connected to the right email. Calendly uses your Add to calendar to create the Google Meeting with, so you’ll want to make sure you’re signed into that account when you join the meeting.

You can check your calendar connections here: https://calendly.com/app/availability/calendar_settings

Something else you can try is by opening an incognito window, signing into that Gmail account, then open the Google Meeting from there.

If it still gives you the same error, it may be worth contacting Google Support as well to see what could be the issue.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @Daan75536. Thanks for reaching out.

To clarify, you and the invitee will use the same link to join the meeting. This is the same behavior for Zoom, Google Meet, ect.

The way that Google identifies you as the host is by the account thats signed into Google at the time that you join the meeting. If there is an account mismatch, Google will display “Waiting for host”

If you have already confirmed that the account matches, I would check with Google Support to see what might be happening with the account.
