I have created two events, both one-on-one and using identical parameters but different dates. They are sequential (2 weeks in May, one week in June). I have bookings for both events. Calendly now tells me I can only have one ‘event type’ on the free plan. But they are the same type. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong please? I don’t want to lose the bookings by cancelling from Calendly but I only need to use this feature for 2 months a year. Upgrading seems to require I pay for a whole year. The only solution I can think of is to make one event by extending the first event. Cancel the bookings for the second event and add them back in to the single extended event. Thanks all.
Hi
I can definitely understand the confusion. Our free version includes one event type (one-on-one) with unlimited meetings. So let’s say you’ve got ‘Event A’ and ‘Event B’ but they’re both one-on-one. These are 2 event types using 1 type of event. Does that make sense? And yes, the free version only allows one event type active at a time.
Fortunately, you can upgrade for just a few months. We charge both annually (which gives a little discount) and monthly. When you’re done, just cancel your subscription and you’re good to go! To do this, just be sure to select ‘Bill Monthly’ when going through the upgrade process.
