I’ve seen a few requests for waitlist options. Just chiming in for another +1 to that request and any insights on timing of when we could potentially see something like this from the product team.

My goal is to use Calendly for teaching virtual small group classes on Zoom. I would love to have an option for people to add themselves to a waitlist if spots are full for a specific time slot and then they get added if someone cancels out of the spot.

Alternatively, maybe it’s a “notify” feature where people can give their email to be notified if a spot becomes available to sign up. I know retailers like B&H Photo do this for products when they’re sold out.

I realize there are other tools available for this, but I love the calendly platform. Keep up the great work!

Hi @Pilates53032 - Thanks for reaching out!

I’ll go ahead and get this passed along to our product team - Really appreciate all the feedback here!

Let me know if you have any questions.

I own a gym and run small group training sessions and would LOVE  a waitlist option! I love Calendly so much but say all the time that my only complaint is the lack of a waitlist feature.

A similar scheduling platform has a waitlist feature where if a spot opens up on the waitlist, the first person on the waitlist gets notified that a spot opened up and they have 3 hours to book it. If they don’t book it, it goes to the next person on the list etc. I think a system like this would be so beneficial!

Currently if we have a time slot that fills up and a client that wants to book it but can’t because it’s full, they usually just text us to let them know if anything opens up. While we don’t mind doing that sometimes, this sort of manual scheduling is not sustainable in the long term as messages get missed sometimes, people cancel last minute, etc. The main reason we started using Calendly in the first place was so that we didn’t have to manually schedule people anymore and they could do it themselves, so adding a waitlist feature would only help that! It not only would make our trainers’ lives easier but our clients as well as they wouldn’t have to wait on a response from us to see if a training session slot opened up.
