Wanting to have timezone show as Canadian rather than US time

Hi,

I live in Montreal and have the same time zone as New York… Calendly sends email reminders to my clients like this: This is a friendly reminder that your Appointment (in-person) with XXX is at 11:00 (America/New_York) on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Is there a way it can say (Canada / EDT) ?

Hi @Claire07765 - Thanks for reaching out!

The only places I would check would be inside your profile settings and your event settings here:

In Calendly, the timezone is labeled as “Eastern Time - US & Canada” so this might be a configuration change the user will need to make on their end, as it could be populated from their Calendar.

Hi, it’s a problem Calendly’s end I think - when the initial confirmation gets sent out, it is with “Eastern Time - US & Canada”, but when the reminder email goes out it says this “

This is a friendly reminder that your Appointment (in-person) with Claire is at 13:30 (America/New_York) today.

Not sure how to fix it….
