“When you log in to Calendly with an email and password, we may ask you to verify your login if something looks unusual”

It’s clear, but I would like to deactivate this option. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

P.S. I understand perfectly well what I'm asking for.

Hello @LaruHelpsUkraine!

There isn’t a way to turn it off right now, but I’ll certainly pass the request on to our Product team for consideration.

Just for context, could you provide a bit more information on why you’d want this feature turned off? I know I’ll get asked!

Hello jillian!

As a volunteer-run charity, we can only afford a few free accounts. Since the confirmation code ALWAYS arrives, regardless of whether it's an old device or a new one, we have to log into our email account each time to copy the code. This is especially inconvenient when different people are setting up the calendar. Of course, we can set up forwarding to a single email address to collect codes, and we'll probably have to do that. We just want to point out that this feature isn't working correctly, and we can't disable it. That's the first thing.

Second. We consider this option unnecessary, as we can use two-factor authentication, which your team has kindly provided, to enhance security.

We hope you can at least find a way to configure the authentication system so that it distinguishes between new and old devices. Please note that our logins are typically performed from devices with a fixed IP address.

Thank you for your understanding!
