Why calendly cancels meetings?

After our free trial finished, calendly started to cancel appointments on it’s own. Is there a way to fix this, or do I need to pay to fix this?
I know for a fact the invitees didn’t cancel meeting, neither did we.

Hi @Betteshanger64183 - Sorry to hear this is going on!

The first thing we recommend doing is turning off sync cancellations from your Calendar Connections page: https://calendly.com/app/availability/calendar_settings

This makes it so any changes that happen to the event on your calendar (Moving, Adjusting, ect) won’t effect the status of the event in Calendly.

Can you give this a try and let me know if it works? Thank you.

I have turned it off earlier, so it doesn’t sync to any calendars apart from calendly. Could there be another reason?

If Sync Cancellations was already turned off, the only way a Calendly event can be canceled is by using the Calendly cancellation link in the calendar event, or directly from your Scheduled Events tab.

You can try disconnecting and reconnecting your calendar connection to see if its an issue with the integration. Otherwise, if this continues to occur, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team who can take a closer look at your account to see if there is anything else that might be going on. But to be clear, this is not caused by switching to the free plan. 🙂
