I would like to push my scheduled Calendly events to different add-to calendars based on event type. I upgraded my subscription from the free - basic plan because the Pricing Page  said I’d be able to connect up to six calendars. Why can’t I do this?

Firstly, the confusion surrounding the fact that you can connect up to six calendars on paid Calendly plans is not something unique to you - so let me explain! When you connect multiple calendars to your Calendly account, this allows Calendly to check additional calendars for conflicts to further avoid double-bookings and overlaps with your external events and meetings. So, if you have (for example) a school calendar and a professional calendar + a calendar for your kiddo’s extracurriculars, Calendly can read your “busy” times and avoid conflicts for you from all of these calendars.

At this time, Calendly can only publish events to one calendar per account, so there is not a way for Calendly to connect different time slots or event types to different calendars. However, there are a couple workarounds that might interest you.

1. You can set up a team page that includes multiple users (each user is one of your email addresses). You can then create different team event types and associate each of them with your different accounts (each of which are connected to one of your different calendars). Keep in mind, you will need to pay for each account in order to use Calendly's team features. This also requires that you be on at least a Standard plan. The Standard plan allows for Collective Event Types, while the Teams plan allows for Collective ETs, Round Robin Event TypesAdmin Managed Events and more.

  • You can read more about our plans, pricing and features on our Pricing Page! Note: an annual subscription will result in a 20% discount for all paid plans!

2. You could also set up a forwarding filter in your inbox to automatically forward all emails received from notifications@calendly.com. You can even forward notifications for specific event types by filtering for subject titles that include the event type name. This will allow an additional person to be notified when an invitee schedules with you.

Hello,

I want to know if Calendly is working to allow us to push our event to 2 different calendars.

I work for a firm and I am in charge of booking my own clients and that has to go to my calendar, but the same event needs to also go to my company’s Gmail Calendar that has everyone’s schedule showing.

I need to be able to have my event show up on both calendars.

What is being done to add this function?

Thank you

Carolyn

Hi @Carolyn05217!

It’s a request our Product team is aware of, but no timeline yet on when we’ll see this functionality.

In the meantime, there is a workaround using Zapier if you’re interested.
