Question

Zoom link created with no host

I need some help! Clients are using my Calendly link to schedule appointments with me, and a Zoom link is created and sent to both of our calendars. However, when we use the link to enter the meeting, we are both placed in “waiting for the host to join” and I am not identified as the host! I have searched my Zoom account and Calendly account for applicable settings but have not been able to solve the problem. Who knows how to address this problem so taht I am the host of my meetings?

Hi @JenniferTGG490 - Thanks for reaching out, sorry to hear this is going on!

Most of the time when we see this error, its usually because:

    1. The Zoom Integration is connected with a old account
    2. The host is not signed into the correct account in Zoom.

You can double check to see which account Calendly is connected to here: https://calendly.com/integrations/zoom/edit

Once confirmed, you’ll want to check your Zoom app to see which account is signed in. You’ll want to make sure both accounts match so that Zoom sees you as the host.

Let me know if this works, or if you have any other questions!

Thanks! I confirmed that I am using the same email for both Zoom and Calendly. I proceeded to unlink Zoom from Calendly and reconnected it. That seemed to have fixed the problem. Fingers crossed!
