Question

Additional Accepted Currencies via Paypal and Stripe

I would like to inquire about the possibility of integrating other currency options into Calendly. From my perspective, the current limitation is quite restrictive. While I appreciate and enjoy using Calendly, the inability to transact in my own currency poses a challenge in tracking payments and confirming appointments.

This limitation requires additional manual effort, whereas other platforms seamlessly handle currency transactions in my currency. I am curious why Calendly does not offer this feature?

From the client's perspective, it adds another layer by redirecting them to an external site for payments and adds confusion.

It would greatly enhance the user experience if currency integration (other than $, € and £!) could be included within Calendly. I offer this as a suggestion for consideration by the Calendly team.

Unfortunately, I find myself exploring alternative programs due to this particular limitation, although I very much would prefer to stay with Calendly.

I’m adding to all the previous requests for NZD. I’d love to use Calendly but currently can’t. The list of available currencies is incredibly restrictive.

Hello. I also find it strange that your integrations (Stripe & PayPal) offer CHF but I cannot select that currency on my Calendly booking page. Are there any plans to include it? If not, I will unfortunately have to start looking for an alternative booking tool for my Swiss customers. And I would prefer not to, as I really enjoy Calendly.

Hi, all in the Calendly Team!

I would also love to see more currency support. I have been a long-time user of the platform, and I recently started looking into adding payments to some of my events.

I understand you can't promise a timeline for this update. Still, if possible, I would love it if you could look into adding NOK, Norwegian krone, as an additional currency once you update it. NOK is on both Stripe and PayPal's accepted currency lists. 😁

Hey there John! Thanks so much for your feedback - we will definitely include it in this month’s report for the product team. Trust me when I say that they are aware of these requests and we haven’t left them alone about it all! I appreciate your understanding our lack of an ability to give a timeline - but still rest assured your voice is being heard!

Hi again, Kelsi,

I hope you are well!

Do you have any updates on these requests? 😁

Hi all - Just putting a disclaimer here. There was a user posting about a product named ‘NoDial’ and how it builds some additional payment workflows into Calendly. After some investigation it looks like NoDial is not a real product and these posts were marked as spam. It has since been removed from the Community.

If you have any questions, let us know. But we do not officially support a product named ‘NoDial’.

Thank you.

Got it. I’ll be packing up the product feedback for November early next week and will definitely make sure it’s on the list. No promises on what/when will come of the feedback, but I will definitely let you know what I find out.

Dear jillian:

Over the past year, there have been several requests for the inclusion of additional currencies in Calendly, specifically Swiss Francs (CHF). As a user based in Switzerland, I would also like to offer CHF as a currency option to my clients.

From a technical perspective, it seems like adding CHF to the currency dropdown menu should be a straightforward adjustment, as the payment processing itself is handled by the integrated payment providers (e.g., PayPal or Stripe). Could you kindly clarify if there are any obstacles preventing the addition of this feature?

I truly believe that enabling CHF would enhance accessibility for users in Switzerland and improve the overall experience for both businesses and their clients.

Looking forward to your response and any updates on this request.

Subject: Feedback on Currency Support – CHF Integration

Hi Kailey,

Thanks for your response.

Stripe and PayPal support almost all major currencies, and it should be easy for you to verify what your potential partners are offering.

As I see, Swiss Francs (CHF) are still not supported, which is unfortunate. Additionally, I’ve noticed that for almost two years, users have been requesting more currency options, yet the response remains the same.

So, what are our options? Nothing, except switching to another provider—even though your product is excellent with a great UI/UX.

I really hope your product team can address this. From a developer’s perspective, it’s just three letters that need to be added : CHF

Best,
Stephan

We are based in Brazil, have deployed Calendly across our teams, and I noticed BRL is not an option for integration with Stripe.  Houston, we have a problem!

Reading this thread is bitterly disappointing.  It’s been going on for well over a year, and multiple users/clients are screaming out for more currencies.  These are currencies offered by Stripe.  I concur with other user(s) who point out that material stating Calendly integrates with Stripe is misleading/deceptive marketing.

I like using Calendly.  It has a good user interface.  But this currency limitation is going to force me to look for alternative suppliers/products, and from a Calendly point of view this is nuts (your company should NEVER give clients a reason to look elsewhere!).

How disappointing….
