Calendly Incorrectly Schedules British Columbia Appointments After November 1, 2026

British Columbia has adopted permanent UTC−7 beginning November 1, 2026. This is already an issue for anyone scheduling Calendly appointments that take place after that date.

During my testing, I confirmed that Calendly is continuing to treat British Columbia as part of “Pacific Time – US & Canada”, which follows U.S. Pacific daylight saving rules.

For example, I scheduled a 9:00 AM meeting in British Columbia for November 6, 2026. The booking page correctly showed 9:00 AM, but the event was added to my Google Calendar as 10:00 AM.

I’ve reported this to Calendly Support, and they’ve confirmed that this is not expected behavior and that it’s been escalated to their product and engineering teams for investigation.

I’m posting here because this affects anyone scheduling appointments with people in British Columbia after November 1, 2026, not just my account.

If you’re in British Columbia, or regularly schedule meetings with people in British Columbia, I recommend testing a booking after November 1, 2026. If you see the same behavior, please report it to Calendly Support as well.

One way Calendly could address this issue would be to extend the existing “Arizona, Yukon Time” option to include British Columbia, since all three jurisdictions will observe UTC−7 year-round.

I’d appreciate any updates from the Calendly team on how support for British Columbia’s permanent time zone will be implemented.

Hello everyone!

Trevor here with the Developer Support team,

It looks like we’re still running into some issues after the release of our Vancouver time zone, so I’d like to take a closer look at some of the examples and accounts mentioned in this thread. To do this, would you mind reaching out to support@calendly.com and reference this community link https://community.calendly.com/how-do-i-40/calendly-incorrectly-schedules-british-columbia-appointments-after-november-1-2026-5868 so I can personally assign those to myself?

Additionally we have rolled out 2 new time zones for users that reside in the Alberta and Manitoba areas that can no longer use MST and CST! These are live in the account availability settings and the live booking pages.

Similarly, if you see any issues with those 2 new timezones, feel free to contact support@calendly.com so we can dive deeper into this issue and ensure everything is working as expected. Thanks again everyone for bringing this to our attention!

@trevor.lampe Can you confirm the name of the new timezone for Alberta?

This is a serious matter for Canadian and international customers of Calendly! Please, please give this your highest priority, CALENDLY, so that your loyal customers do not lose clients because of Calendly boookings being unable to align time zones!

This is horrible. It also depends on whether a client/customer is using a desktop or phone to book as to what they see. I’ve lost two potential clients last week because of confused times. Then, of course, Calendly sends confirmation emails that are incorrect. Ugh.

This is still happening for Alberta and should have been fixed well in advance of Nov 1st.   i contacted support who would not give me a timeline as when this fix would be implemented.  Seeking another provider.

Agreed! My calendar is a complete disaster as I have clients all over Canada. This should have been fixed ! I am also looking into another provider.
