I’ve been using Calendly for over 2 years, and since the major update, I cannot reschedule a meeting. This is a one-one-one meeting tyep, and I am on the Standard plan. 

The time slot I want to reschedule to is available, the trouble-shooter shows it available, but when I click to confirm, I always get an error like “time slot no longer available” or “start time already taken,” neither of which are true. I can cancel the meeting and rebook, but that’s a pain, and it should work since it works to book that exact same time slot from a new “book a meeting” option with no override needed. Please help!

One thing we can try here is clearing out your browsers cache and cookies and testing the process again. If this doesn’t work, can you try logging in from a different browser to see if that same error occurs?

I have been having the same issue. It doesn’t make a difference which browser am using, or if i am on the app. Clearing out browsers cache and cookies also not making any difference. It is becoming an issue as it is taking a lot longer to do a simple appointment rescheduling.  I would say it is more likely a syncing issue. 

When rescheduling using the override system on the app, you cannot move the meeting to a time that overlaps with the existing slot, even if it marked as Free in the calendar.

I’ve tried all that and it does not solve the problem. It doesn’t matter if I’m on the app or the desktop, and there seems to be no consistent reason why it doesn’t work. Sometimes, I’m trying to use the override schedule, sometimes it’s trying to switch to regular time slot according to my set working hours. 


I have also been getting a Sorry, that time is no longer available messages when rescheduling. When I tried to submit a ticket to get help, I was prompted to allow AI to manage my Calendly, which I definitely don’t want any more of in my life. 

My only options seem to be to cancel and reschedule an appointment, which is very inefficient and kind of maddening…

SAME HERE! This has been happening to me a lot and last time I reached out to chat support, the solve was just to cancel and schedule a new meeting, which is not really a professional option when dealing with clients. I had no appts on the calendar and no conflicts and I cleared my cookies and cache and tried two different browsers as well as the app. This is a glitch that Calendly PLEASE needs to fix. Please let us know when this is resolved. 


YES!! Exactly, Samantha30014 - and it just happened again. There was NO conflict, the time option shows as listed and available, and then the “Sorry! That start time has been filled” - so DAMN ANNOYING and yes, unprofessional. Screen shots added.


Hi all - Since this is occurring in the mobile app, can you make sure that there are no pending updates available for it? I do know this was an issue a few weeks back but that specific instance was resolved. 

If its fully updated, I’d recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if the same error occurs.

It’s not only occurring in the app. It occurs on my computer, too. The screenshots I provided above were taken of the app after the same exact thing happened online. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the plug in, cleared all the cache, etc. and tried again from a desktop using the webpage. The issue is on Calendly’s end. Not the user. Thanks. 


Got it - Thanks for confirming that. I understand its on our end, just trying to determine the root of these issues. The next thing we can try is temporarily removing your calendar from the Check for Conflicts section in your account here: https://calendly.com/app/availability/calendar_settings


 

Once the boxes are unchecked, select update, then try that same process and see if it gives an error.

Once this is done, you can undo the changes, but let me know if the error persists after doing so!


Hello. I tried this and it still doesn’t work. This has been an ONGOING issue with Calendly for MONTHS now. 


Hi. I just had the same issue today again. I go to reschedule a meeting. The time I want is available. I click on it. I go through all the questions and when I hit confirm, a screen pops up saying “this time is no longer available.” EVERY TIME. 

So… any updates from Calendly on this???


Samantha, SAME!!! Soooo frustrating! I can’t figure out why because sometimes (less often but sometimes!) it actually works, so it makes ZERO sense. I want to switch to another app if this isn’t resolved soon because it’s ridiculous.


I’ve mostly NOT seen this frustrating bug rear its ugly head, but every once in a while it still does. Definitely annoying. 


I am seriously thinking that I will need to rethink my scheduling options now due to this glitch. I really love Calendly, but as part of my work is as a therapist, i need to be able to reschedule appointments promptly. Currently if someone wants to change an appointment i am spending too long on trying to do this.  

For Calendly  - I have checked all the settings and ensure that mu calendar is clear when rescheduling. The app is completely up to date. Unfortunately it is not making any difference.

If you haven’t already, I would still advise reaching out to support@calendly.com so they can investigate your issue further and log it if needed. They may need additional information that shouldn’t be shared on a public form.
