I want to offer a Calendly link to a large group for rotating daily jobs. Getting members to commit to four jobs at a single daily event. Like sign up genius. I need four members of this large group to sign up ahead of time for four separate jobs at a meeting we attend daily. The offer should show the four jobs and which have been taken and which are still open over a length of time ( month or more). Can Calendly do this?

Hi @BetterTogether365 - Thanks for reaching out!

Could you give me some more details on this? I’d be happy to dig into this more to figure out which features work best for this case!

Will there only be one slot open for each job? Or is there four slots per job? Or did you want four different jobs that are offered each day, that can be booked by your clients. Any other details for this can help!

We are hosting a support group.

We need someone each night to be a;

Timer

Reader One

Reader two

Reader Three (somedays)

What I need is a way for Members/Guest to go to a scheduling page and see what positions are not chosen so they can volunteer to take fill these slots.

I need them to provide me with their name, email, and phone number.

I would like Calendly to be able to send them an email reminder two days before and a text message the day of.

This is one event, one hour long, each day, with the same start time. All these people will be at the same event providing the service they volunteered for timer or reader 1, 2, 3.

Got it - Thanks for the additional information here!

So, the main issue we run into here is that there would not be a way to have each user see which position is taken from one booking page. There are two ways I can think of getting close to functionality like this:

  • Setup an event type for each role, then send out your landing page (calendly.com/(YOUR LINK)), so they can see a list of jobs available, select the job they want, then select the date/time.
    • Using the one-on-one event would require using Overlapping meetings to allow multiple one-on-one events to occur at the same time.
  • Another way is to create a Group Event, then create a custom question that asks what role they prefer, this way, each user can select the same time slot.

This way, you can setup what other information you need from them, and send out those automated notifications.

Let me know if you have any questions!
