Phone numbers - text messaging

I cannot get my text messaging on WhatsApp to work for the life of me.  It is not a carrier issue.  It is a Calendly issue.  I have subscribed to another app to try this, and it works in my country.  How do I get the app to collect the phone numbers of my clients, if this is an issue.  The text message still does not work, even when I update the contact information manually.

Just to confirm, are you booking these appointments on behalf of your customers? Or are your customers making these appointments and adding their phone number?

At this time, if you book an appointment on behalf of the customer through the Book Now page, the text message will not be sent as this requires consent to be given from the user. However, if a customer books with you and adds their phone number, it should send those text messages correctly.

It is not as simple as that. If the customer books, the phone number is not requested, so they can’t add it.

if I book for the customer, even though I have added the customers phone number in on my contact list, it does not send either.

Hi ​@Helderberg17005 - Just to confirm, do you have the Text Message Workflow enabled? This will allow Invitees to add their phone number to get reminders. You can read more on this here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500000432021-How-to-send-text-messages-with-Workflows

Alternatively, you can use a integration such as Callendar or Zapier to send Whatsapp notifications as well. But to be clear, you would need one of these options enabled in order to send notifications through Whatsapp or Text.
