rescheduling issue

Hi there,

 

We use a map routing system that requires us to move appts to other times based on the route.  The problem is that the rescheduling button does not give the option to “override”.  I need to switch clients around and can’t because the time I need to switch them to is already taken. I need the override option to be available on the reschedule button. Do you have another way without canceling and creating a new appt setting off a chain of workflows that don’t work for us?

Hi ​@Caleb's04135 - Thanks for reaching out.

Let me look into this for you and see what I can find as a workaround - We don’t currently have a way to override appointments in the reschedule flow, but I do think its a good idea! (I’ll get this passed on to our product team!)

I’ll take a look and see what I can find.

It does seem like the host should have the ability to override in reschedule mode since it can in the schedule mode.

Another note:  When I reschedule via my synced Google calendar, some of the meeting details and questions get deleted in Calendly AND on the calendar. It’s really annoying that they get deleted in Calendly, which I should still be able to refer back to.

Hi ​@Caleb's04135 - Thanks for adding this.

I was gonna recommend rescheduling via the Google Calendar - However seems like you’re running into issues with this too.

Are you just clicking and dragging the event to a new time? Then once its moved all the information is removed? I can’t quite seem to reproduce this on my end, the expected behavior is that the information gets carried with it.

In this case, I’d actually recommend getting some screenshots of whats going on and sending it over to our support team either via chat or by emailing support@calendly.com - They’ll be able to investigate this further and see whats going on with your reschedule process.

ok….I have to do this for tomorrow’s appts.  Here is the 10am appt that i need to move to 9am. Here it is premoved. Questions are intact 

and here are the questions after I moved the date --- You’ll notice the address is missing, which is kinda important.

and this one premoved: need to move to 10am 

And after I moved the appt in my google calendar  - two questions are missing on this one (1 and 3)

no where….not even on the google calendar.  I’m lucky I screenshotted….otherwise, I’d have to call the customer to get the address.
