Hi There,

Is it possible when clients are booking, they must pay if the session is online but if in person they can pay after the session?

Hi LynetteFloweringLotus! This is certainly possible with the help of routing forms. I’ll describe the basic process below.

  1. Create two event types. One for an in-person meeting and one for an online meeting.
    • Two benefits here. You can add a payment option for the online meeting and leave out the payment option for the in-person meeting. This also simplifies locations as each event type will use it’s own separate location.
  2. Set up a routing form.
    • Go to "Routing Forms" and click "New Routing Form."
    • Add a radio button question: "Would you like to book an online session or an in-person session?"
  3. Set up routing form logic.
    • If "Online Session" is selected, route to the "Online Session" event type.
    • If "In-Person Session" is selected, route to the "In-Person Session" event type.
  4. If applicable, embed your routing form in your website.
    • Use the embed code or provided link to share the routing form with your clients.

I hope this helps and don’t forget to test! I’m also going to leave a few links below with Help Center articles on routing forms.
