Moving appointments back and forth between employees

Depending on the size of our clients, we sometimes need to reschedule booked appointments within our team. Unfortunately, Calendly always cancels the original appointment and creates a new one when rescheduling. The "appointment cancellation" email causes a lot of confusion for our clients. Simply blocking the new time in the calendar of our senior while keeping the old appointment active isn’t a good option either, as it negatively impacts our booking stats.Have you had similar experiences? How do you handle this?And is there any hope that Calendly will address this issue in the near future?

Maybe you’re new to Calendly, or a long time user - but a first time subscriber and you’re looking for the steps to get rid of the Powered By Calendly banner on your booking pages. Today, I wanted to go through this, and dig into some common issues we see when disabling it for the first time. What is this banner?The Powered By Calendly banner appears on your booking pages and routing forms, it will appear in the upper right corner if it’s enabled. Event types display different colors on Google Calendar

Hi there!I know it's not possible at the moment, but I wanted to ask if it will be developed in the near future. I am in HR and need to interview people from various countries. Having different colors for each meeting based on their language would help me a lot.I promise to send flowers to the programmer who makes this happen. Thanks!

Frustrated by removing "Schedules"

I’m frustrated Calendly removed the “Schedules” functionality. I hold an event once a month for an hour where I want to be only available for that event and not allow any other event types from scheduling something. I used to be able to do this, but Calendly removed the feature with an update.  Support told me I could manually input these specific dates on every other event type (8-10 of them). This would take hours. It’s should be really easy to set a schedule and apply it to multiple event types. The time off feature is useless because it blocks it across ALL event types. I can already do that on my own calendar.  Is this something other people were using? If so, please let Calendly support know or comment below.

Why is calendar view in availability tab gone?

This is really the ONLY thing that sets you apart from other calendar managers. Please add it back or I can just go with a cheaper version like TidyCal

Removed Calendar view from a product called "Calendly" ??

I have spent too much time away from my business to figure out what is happening with Calendly. Only to realize that Calendly has changed its product. Calendly removed the CALENDAR view from their product offering. They removed the thing they’re named after?! It is the entire reason I purchased an annual subscription four weeks ago. Now, I am stuck with a product that is not useful to me. I have read in other threads you’re stuck with the annual subscription. However,  I’m considering disputing the charge unless I get a refund from them since this product is now completely different from what I signed up for. OR , they need to add the calendar view back. This is unacceptable. I think it’s funny they made this post 2 hours ago and shut the comments off because they know how many people will be unhappy with the change, and they didn’t even bother warning us about it. This update was made five days ago, and I still have yet to receive an email from Calendly with the product update. “But l

Hi! I just spent quite a lot of time trying to find the calendar view in the availability tab, which I had just been using two days ago. I see from the updates that the UI changed yesterday. I would really like the calendar view back, if possible!

Feature request: Improved customisation to email notifications (embed images / add attachments)

Although Calendly has been a game changer in terms of improving scheduling, we are unable to maximise it’s full potential due to the lack of customisation available in the notification/workflow emails. For us to be able to eliminate having to send follow up emails manually, we REALLY need to be able to embed images in the email body and attach documents to these communications. And also just from a branding perspective, I’d love to be able to add our proper email signatures (with our logo) as well. Any chance this feature is on the horizon?

Feature Requests: Admin Managed Availability or Availability API Endpoint

Feature Request: Admin Access to Set User’s AvailabilityI’m looking to centrally manage my team’s availability. As is, only users can set their own availability, but for my organization's use-case, this would be much better if we could centrally manage this. Cal.com has a version of this that let’s you impersonate your team members to achieve setting properties that can only be updated by the user (ie, not accessible via the admin).  Feature Request: API Endpoint to Set AvailabilityThe ability to manage availability of team member’s through an API endpoint. This would mean that we could collect availability within our our application and then programmatically configure their Calendly availability.

I see the default is a 30-minute meeting.  Can I add a few other options, such as 15-minute, 30-minute and 60-minute?

new availability layout

Removing the ability to have multiple availability schedules severely limits how our organization utilizes Calendly. Is anyone else having similar issues with this unannounced “upgrade”?If this change was anticipated, why let users spend hours learning and developing there events only to take it away without announcement?Frustrating to say the least with being the one who was the champion for this to be a solution for our company.

Secret Event Types: Control Who Books With You

It’s frustrating when you get bookings out the wazoo - when all you’d hoped for was a handful. It’s also frustrating when you, the ever-popular King 🤴🏽, Queen 👸🏼 or Nonbinary Royal 👑 cannot keep up with the spam-bot bookings that might be attacking your booking page. While Calendly does not currently have a feature that allows for blocking bookings (spam or otherwise - we are taking feedback about this into strong consideration! 🔊), we do have some methods of managing who can and cannot book your event types. 💦 Let’s dive in! 💦Depending on how you've shared your link, you may want to consider exploring the following options:Changing the event URL, and sharing a new event link. 🖇 If you have shared your personal scheduling page- and not the event-specific link- you could make the event secret which would ensure it did not appear on your main scheduling page. Any invitees would need to use the event-specific link to access your booking page, which would only be provided by you.

Waitlist option

Hi! I’m using Calendly to help customers book learning sessions, and I have a large team of people who can host these sessions. It would be great if Calendly could create a waitlist option so that if I’m not specifically available at the customer’s desired time, I could know what the customer prefers and then check with my team to see if anyone else is available to lead that learning session with the customer.

Rescheduling of with a specific person in round robin

I would like to be able to reschedule an appointment that is with someone specific in the round robin with someone else without having to go back through the round robin. Example: A person is out sick and they can’t make their appointment and I would like to reschedule this with another person in the round robin without canceling and rescheduling. I would like to pick a specific person and for the link to the meeting to not change (teams meeting). I just need to move to another person (Time, date, location the same).

Multiple Calendars Sync but make booking with a specific calendar

I have 4 calendars across different businesses.  I can sync all 4 calendars from an availability standpoint but I want to have a specific booking link for each different calendar i.e. I want to have a calendar link in my email for @acmeinc that will see availability in all my calendars but if someone books time with me it will be in the @acmeinc calendar. Similarly my @ABCINC email calendar link will also see availability over all my calendars but if they use that link it will book into the @ABCINC calendar. I cannot see that this is possible on Calendly without paying for 4 subscriptions (which is a silly workaround IMO)

Availability Setting and Syncing

My Calendly account is correctly synced with my Google calendar. So if there is an event on Google calendar, it’d show unavailable in the Calendly booking page. However, I did set up availability slots separately on Calendly, e.g., even if I don't have anything on my Google calendar, I want to set Friday as “unavailable” for meetings on my Calendly account.  It looks like the slots I set on Calendly are overridden by my Google Calendar and all Fridays show as available despite my setting.  Is this standard? Is there a workaround or do I have to block it on Google Calendar? Thanks.
