I’m reaching out to request a critical feature for Calendly’s API: an endpoint to get/retrieve poll data. This capability is essential for my business, and I believe it would benefit many other developers in the community as well. The ProblemMy team is building workflows in the financial industry where meetings need to be seamless and easy -- often requiring our internal users to leverage multiple systems to schedule, log, and execute the meeting. Currently, Calendly’s API (as of 29-Apr-2025) does NOT allow us to fetch meeting poll results, so there is no way to determine which events are ready to be scheduled across hundreds of scheduled meetings. This limitation causes friction:Clients expect instant scheduling once availability is confirmed. Scrolling through hundreds of meetings and emails to determine which are ready for scheduling takes significant time, leading to drop-offs and lost business. In competitive markets, delays in scheduling can result in clients choosing faster alt
Hi there,I found only the possibility to receive the Busy Times with “List User Busy Times”, but unfortunately it seems to be no possibility to set the Busy Times through the API. This would be very useful.Kind regards, Christian
Greetings everyone, We use this option in the mobile app to hide the cookie banner, unfortunately, this option does not seem to work anymore. Is this isolate or did other people report this issue ?I was able to replicate this issue by simply appending “<event_url>?hide_gdpr_banner=1” to an event URL. Could the Calendly team take a look at this ? We operate from Belgium if that can help.
I am a therapist and my clients can book their own appointments through Calendly, which works great. However, some clients need to cancel or reschedule their appointments. My cancellation policy states that appointments can be changed free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.I would like a feature that prevents clients from cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours of their appointment, while still allowing them to manage their bookings themselves up until that moment.
Hi I have been trying to fix an issue with calendly where when i get to the you are scheduled screen it breaks my form… you can see it breaks out of the mobile phones screen / viewport and enlarges the screen. I can then move this page around with my finger. the steps with in the calendly form before this are all perfect. I have tried many different solutions but it will not fix the issue.SO: What happens:Calendar selection, time selection, and "Enter Details" steps all render correctly within the mobile viewport When the confirmation/"You are scheduled" page loads inside the iframe, the entire page layout expands beyond the screen width The form's title/description become oversized and cut off on the right The user can scroll/pan horizontally (page is wider than the viewport) This persists when navigating to subsequent screens Pinching to zoom out snaps it back to the correct scaleWhat tried (none worked):overflow: hidden !important on the .calendly-inline-widget and its iframe max-w
Hi — we are building a Calendly integration using the new Scheduling API (POST /invitees) and want to clarify how it interacts with event types that require payment. Question 1If an event type has “Require payment to book this meeting” enabled with Stripe or PayPal:When we create a booking via the Scheduling API (POST /invitees), does Calendly: trigger the same payment flow that occurs in the normal Calendly booking UI, or create the booking without requiring payment? In other words, is payment enforcement handled automatically when booking through the API?Question 2Is there a way to programmatically determine whether an event type is configured to require payment? Specifically, we want to know if there is a flag indicating something like: requires_payment: trueso we can decide whether to auto-book via API or redirect users to the Calendly booking page. Thanks in advance for your help.Nathan
Hello Calendly Community, I’m reaching out for guidance on three specific challenges I’m currently facing: Multilingual Support My website operates in four languages (EN, FR, DE, IT), and I’d like to use a single Calendly booking form to handle all requests, while adapting the experience to the visitor’s language. Hidden Fields for Tracking I would like to pass hidden parameters in the booking URL (such as language and source/channel) and capture them with each booking. This would help us identify where the booking originated (e.g. homepage, blog, pricing page). Host Notifications with Hidden Field Data Ideally, the host receiving the booking should see those hidden parameters in the email notification, to better prepare for the call. Could anyone share how they’ve approached this setup—or if it’s even fully possible within Calendly today (and if so, which plan is required)?Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance, Johan
HiI’ve got a facebook meta ad that sends the ad clicker to my calendly booking page.I have meta pixel linked to my calendly booking page. The url at the calendly book page includes a number of parameters, including Fbclid.Upon a successful booking of appointment, the lead then gets redirected to an external thank you page (my website). I have checked the box in calendly to allow for pass through of parameters. However, the most critical parameter Fbclid, does not pass through from calendly to the external thank you page. Requirement:I need to extract the fbclid. What’s the best way to do this?
Hi So i’ve set up the Calendar sync with my google calendar and i’ve set up the redirect URL how i believe it should be set up and ticked the pass event details box. on my external page, which is set up correctly it is only showing the parameter i’ve asked it to and not the data behind the parameter e.g. invitee_full_name and not their name. it’s the same for start date and email. this is the URL i’m using https://tally.so/r/1Alq8W?bookingdate=event_start_time&name=invitee_full_name&email=invitee_email

Hi Calendly developers, We’re excited to share that the Scheduling API is officially live. This release gives developers full control of the booking experience, while Calendly handles the backend — calendar invites, Workflow notifications, and more. With the new Scheduling API (Create Event Invitee endpoint), you can now schedule Calendly meetings via API — no redirects, iframes, or Calendly-hosted UI required — making it possible to:Enable AI assistants to book meetings conversationally Create custom booking workflows and scheduling automations Build Calendly scheduling flows directly into your native apps, portals, or platform View the API docs to get started Want more examples? Explore how partners like Thoughtly are already using the Scheduling API to power AI-driven scheduling experiences. Note: Calendly customers are required to be on a paid plan in order to access or use applications calling the Scheduling API. “Our customers now operate with complete confidence that their AI
Hi there,I’ve just been browsing through my Upcoming appointments.I can see from each appointment the ‘Timeline’ area where it shows where a client has booked in directly and states ‘New Event Booked: client name, meeting type, and date and time it was booked’ is displayed, and I can see the same detail on previous Past events where I have manually added appointments on clients’ behalf. However, with my Upcoming appointments I can only see that the ‘New Event Booked...’ information is only visible for those who’ve booked themselves in, and not displaying for those I have booked in as the host. Is this normal? or Does this mean that they have not received email confirmations of their appointments (even though i myself have received email confirmation as the host, for those appointments)? Also, I recently added an appointment for a client (after experiencing server errors connecting to Calendly), which did not get synced to my Google Calendar (although all others have since then), and alt
Hi Calendly Team,I have recently created a Stripe account with the intention of using it as my payment provider within Calendly. However, I noticed that Polish złoty (PLN) is not available as a supported currency in the Stripe integration.Unfortunately, this prevents me from using Calendly professionally in my business. The majority of my clients are based in Poland, and many of them refuse to make payments in EUR or USD. As a result, I am unable to fully implement Calendly’s paid booking feature.Could you please let me know if there are any plans to introduce PLN support? This would make a significant difference for businesses operating in the Polish market.Thank you for your support.Best regards,Karolina
I am struggling to come up with a solution on this.I created a booking page where a customer can choose topics they need help with, each topic has a set duration, so my first issues is I need to dynamically set the event duration. The second issue I have is I have a system knowing which agents are skilled on each topic, so some of the choices may require multiple agents to attend the meeting.I can accomplish both of these issues by creating One-Off Event Types using the API and can do collective events when multiple agents are needed, which is great. The issue I have now is I need to be able to set buffers on these event types, or my agents are going to be bombarded with bookings with no breaks potentially.I really don’t like butting 2 events together as a lot of our sessions do take longer than expected as these are onboarding/support sessions, and we can run into issues if a customer only books a 15 minute topic, and we run into an unexpected issue, which does happen frequently.I also
Hello! We have meetings set as “group” meetings so our clients can bring up to two guests. However, in Calendly the “1 of 2 spots filled” is showing as available additional meetings at that time. So we have 2 clients booked for 1pm, as a group meeting. This is NOT what we want! Help
Hello,When we send a request to the /shares endpoint with a Round Robin Event URI such as:{ "event_type": "https://api.calendly.com/event_types/the-relevant-uri"}the host availability is overwritten or not respected, even though the request does not override the values set in the Event Type. My reading of the documentation, particularly:Note: Any parameter which is not provided in the request body will be copied from the target event type. would suggest that the availability in the Event Type should be used. We’re not seeing that. Currently we have hosts who’s earliest availability is 8AM Pacific, but just had an event book for 6am Pacific. What are we doing wrong?
Hello, 🌿Calendly doesn’t work anymore. The window that is supposed to open when selecting changings in the event type menu remains empty...meaning i have no access to the calendar or anything else, and this in any type of events. ( fee is payed ok)Any help please?Thank you :-)
As soon as I click on the On/Off toggle button, it brings me this pop-up.The chatbot couldn’t understand the issue, and I don’t know why this is suddenly happening… as I was able to switch easily from 15-min to 30-min previously.
I would like if Calendly would add the option to add more than one phone number for a contact. I have several clients who have a cell and office number to save or when you have a client that shares an email address (husband & wife) and you want to include them both as a contact, that way you can have each of their numbers listed and who it belongs to.
Hi community, when i refresh the oauth token using the calendly apiurl: `https://auth.calendly.com/oauth/token`method: POSTdata: 'grant_type=refresh_token&refresh_token=<refresh_token>' it throws bad request errorcode: 'ERR_BAD_REQUEST',response: data: { error: 'invalid_grant', error_description: 'The provided authorization grant is invalid, expired, revoked, does not match the redirection URI used in the authorization request, or was issued to another client.' }please help or suggest what could be the issue, we are following the api reference correctly, this happens when token gets expired multiple times and after multiple times of refresh it throws the above error or let’s say the oauth token expired and later after when refreshing the token throws the above error
Dear Calendly Team,I see this has been asked many times over so this is nothing new to you. The last I read about it was 30 days ago.Essentially, when will Calendly join the list of these Reserve with Google partners? https://www.google.com/maps/reserve/partners?ihs=3This is such a key feature for those who have a local business and rely on people booking an appointment to benefit from a service. I understand that Calendly might have initially been designed with corporate meeting organisation in mind, but there is a demand (judging by this forum) for it to cater more to small businesses and sole traders who rely on booking appointments as a source of customer contact.Like others, I am contemplating shifting away from Calendly (my yearly plan will be up for renewal in December) if this is not something that is coming out of the pipelines soon. For myself and the many others interested, would you please mind sharing with us whether it is indeed something that Calendly is actively working
I am experiencing a critical and intermittent issue with a Round Robin event type. The Problem: It’s not happening with every bookin. the assigned host is not receiving an email notification and the event is not being added to their Google Calendar. Meanwhile, the invitee receives everything perfectly (Zoom link, confirmation email). This has already caused us to miss calls because the host simply didn't know the event existed.Key Details: Event Type: Round Robin (2 seats). Status: Some events sync perfectly; others simply never reach the host's inbox or calendar. Since the invitee is successfully notified, the trigger is firing, but it seems to be failing specifically on the host-side delivery for random instances. Is anyone else experiencing this intermittent sync failure this month? Is there a fix to ensure 100% reliability for host notifications?
Trying to book a meeting and getting an error message preventing me from scheduling. Why?“Too many requests. Please try again later.” TIA
Bonjour,Lorsqu’une réunion est replanifiée, il n’est plus possible de “planifier l’invité à nouveau” à partir de cette dernière réunion. Est-ce normal? c’est très embêtantMerci
