Hi there,I’ve just been browsing through my Upcoming appointments.I can see from each appointment the ‘Timeline’ area where it shows where a client has booked in directly and states ‘New Event Booked: client name, meeting type, and date and time it was booked’ is displayed, and I can see the same detail on previous Past events where I have manually added appointments on clients’ behalf. However, with my Upcoming appointments I can only see that the ‘New Event Booked...’ information is only visible for those who’ve booked themselves in, and not displaying for those I have booked in as the host. Is this normal? or Does this mean that they have not received email confirmations of their appointments (even though i myself have received email confirmation as the host, for those appointments)? Also, I recently added an appointment for a client (after experiencing server errors connecting to Calendly), which did not get synced to my Google Calendar (although all others have since then), and alt
Hi Calendly Team,I have recently created a Stripe account with the intention of using it as my payment provider within Calendly. However, I noticed that Polish złoty (PLN) is not available as a supported currency in the Stripe integration.Unfortunately, this prevents me from using Calendly professionally in my business. The majority of my clients are based in Poland, and many of them refuse to make payments in EUR or USD. As a result, I am unable to fully implement Calendly’s paid booking feature.Could you please let me know if there are any plans to introduce PLN support? This would make a significant difference for businesses operating in the Polish market.Thank you for your support.Best regards,Karolina
I am struggling to come up with a solution on this.I created a booking page where a customer can choose topics they need help with, each topic has a set duration, so my first issues is I need to dynamically set the event duration. The second issue I have is I have a system knowing which agents are skilled on each topic, so some of the choices may require multiple agents to attend the meeting.I can accomplish both of these issues by creating One-Off Event Types using the API and can do collective events when multiple agents are needed, which is great. The issue I have now is I need to be able to set buffers on these event types, or my agents are going to be bombarded with bookings with no breaks potentially.I really don’t like butting 2 events together as a lot of our sessions do take longer than expected as these are onboarding/support sessions, and we can run into issues if a customer only books a 15 minute topic, and we run into an unexpected issue, which does happen frequently.I also
Hello! We have meetings set as “group” meetings so our clients can bring up to two guests. However, in Calendly the “1 of 2 spots filled” is showing as available additional meetings at that time. So we have 2 clients booked for 1pm, as a group meeting. This is NOT what we want! Help
Hello,When we send a request to the /shares endpoint with a Round Robin Event URI such as:{ "event_type": "https://api.calendly.com/event_types/the-relevant-uri"}the host availability is overwritten or not respected, even though the request does not override the values set in the Event Type. My reading of the documentation, particularly:Note: Any parameter which is not provided in the request body will be copied from the target event type. would suggest that the availability in the Event Type should be used. We’re not seeing that. Currently we have hosts who’s earliest availability is 8AM Pacific, but just had an event book for 6am Pacific. What are we doing wrong?
Hello, 🌿Calendly doesn’t work anymore. The window that is supposed to open when selecting changings in the event type menu remains empty...meaning i have no access to the calendar or anything else, and this in any type of events. ( fee is payed ok)Any help please?Thank you :-)
As soon as I click on the On/Off toggle button, it brings me this pop-up.The chatbot couldn’t understand the issue, and I don’t know why this is suddenly happening… as I was able to switch easily from 15-min to 30-min previously.
I would like if Calendly would add the option to add more than one phone number for a contact. I have several clients who have a cell and office number to save or when you have a client that shares an email address (husband & wife) and you want to include them both as a contact, that way you can have each of their numbers listed and who it belongs to.
Hi community, when i refresh the oauth token using the calendly apiurl: `https://auth.calendly.com/oauth/token`method: POSTdata: 'grant_type=refresh_token&refresh_token=<refresh_token>' it throws bad request errorcode: 'ERR_BAD_REQUEST',response: data: { error: 'invalid_grant', error_description: 'The provided authorization grant is invalid, expired, revoked, does not match the redirection URI used in the authorization request, or was issued to another client.' }please help or suggest what could be the issue, we are following the api reference correctly, this happens when token gets expired multiple times and after multiple times of refresh it throws the above error or let’s say the oauth token expired and later after when refreshing the token throws the above error
Dear Calendly Team,I see this has been asked many times over so this is nothing new to you. The last I read about it was 30 days ago.Essentially, when will Calendly join the list of these Reserve with Google partners? https://www.google.com/maps/reserve/partners?ihs=3This is such a key feature for those who have a local business and rely on people booking an appointment to benefit from a service. I understand that Calendly might have initially been designed with corporate meeting organisation in mind, but there is a demand (judging by this forum) for it to cater more to small businesses and sole traders who rely on booking appointments as a source of customer contact.Like others, I am contemplating shifting away from Calendly (my yearly plan will be up for renewal in December) if this is not something that is coming out of the pipelines soon. For myself and the many others interested, would you please mind sharing with us whether it is indeed something that Calendly is actively working
I am experiencing a critical and intermittent issue with a Round Robin event type. The Problem: It’s not happening with every bookin. the assigned host is not receiving an email notification and the event is not being added to their Google Calendar. Meanwhile, the invitee receives everything perfectly (Zoom link, confirmation email). This has already caused us to miss calls because the host simply didn't know the event existed.Key Details: Event Type: Round Robin (2 seats). Status: Some events sync perfectly; others simply never reach the host's inbox or calendar. Since the invitee is successfully notified, the trigger is firing, but it seems to be failing specifically on the host-side delivery for random instances. Is anyone else experiencing this intermittent sync failure this month? Is there a fix to ensure 100% reliability for host notifications?
Trying to book a meeting and getting an error message preventing me from scheduling. Why?“Too many requests. Please try again later.” TIA
Bonjour,Lorsqu’une réunion est replanifiée, il n’est plus possible de “planifier l’invité à nouveau” à partir de cette dernière réunion. Est-ce normal? c’est très embêtantMerci
We have embedded Calendly across many of our websites (different domains and platforms) and it seems that the widgets fail to load randomly, displaying this:After refreshing (sometimes several times) it goes back to normal. Is there an outage?
We are trying to use the embedded booking widget on our website and it works well except when our site is in dark mode. I provide custom colours using the ?background_color=xxx&text_color=xxx&primary_color=xxx options. It works well but the generated iframe has a white background instead of being transparent. The generated Calendly iframe does support a transparent background colour but the generated iframe needs to have this added into the head section:<meta name="color-scheme" content="light dark">I found the fix here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/77604431/343If I manually add this tag using the browser inspector it works fine and the iframe has a transparent background again. Is it possible to have this tag added to the generated iframe so that we can have full dark mode support? Thanks!
I book clients for personal training sessions and “Schedule Event” is not very suitable. I’d much rather it said “BOOK NOW” or “REQUEST TO BOOK” or just “SCHEDULE”. Is that possible??
I’m sharing this post to help provide clarity for other European, service-based businesses evaluating Calendly.Over the past months, I’ve had multiple conversations with Calendly support regarding EU-native payment methods—specifically iDeal, which is the standard payment method in the Netherlands and widely expected by customers during booking flows.Through these discussions, support confirmed the following: Support for iDeal and similar EU payment methods is not currently available in Calendly’s booking payments. This request has already been submitted in the past by multiple users and exists as an internal feature request. Support can only add additional votes/requests to this item. The feature is not currently on the product roadmap and has no ownership or planned timeline. This aligns with older community topics (e.g. posts from over a year ago) where the same request was acknowledged and marked as a feature request, but without subsequent implementation.Calendly works very
When I build one-on-one meetings under my personal profile, I can select multiple durations. Unfortunately, the feature to add multiple durations is not available for Managed Event Types. This feature is available for individual event types, where you can add up to four duration options per event type, but it does not apply to Group events or Managed Event Types. It would be great if this feature could be added to Managed Events so I can easily share meeting templates with my team without having to manually copy templates I’ve developed from my personal profile with each new employee or meeting type developed within my team.
Hi all, I’ll preface by saying I’m not a developer by profession, so my code might not be up to industry standards. I’ve created a tool for work called “multi_cal” that has a few utility features that Calendly does not offer (or only partially offers) on its own. Currently, it is based in Google Apps-Script and runs off a host email account that communicates with Calendly via workflows. I recognize that this is probably inefficient, but there are two reasons for this: the first is that, as stated, I am not a developer, and the second is that I wanted other people in my department to be able to set it up for themselves relatively easily and without requiring intervention on my part (that made fiddling with OAuth and other intricacies a little out of scope). The FeaturesShared Resource KeywordsCalendly is great for managing a single individual’s calendar, but it starts to struggle when different hosts are trying to schedule for the same resources (say a certain room or piece of equipment
Hi everyone,I'm using the Calendly inline widget on my website and I'm consistently seeing this deprecation warning in my browser's developer console: Unload event listeners are deprecated and will be removed.1 sourcefbevents.js:196🔍 InvestigationAfter investigating, I confirmed:The warning comes from Facebook Pixel ( fbevents.js ) which is loaded by the Calendly widget My website has no Facebook Pixel code—this is entirely from Calendly's widget script ( assets.calendly.com/assets/external/widget.js )⚠️ Why This MattersModern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) are deprecating unload event listeners because they:Block the back-forward cache (bfcache) → Slower navigation Hurt Core Web Vitals / Lighthouse scores → Lower "Best Practices" rating Are unreliable on mobile → May not fire at allGoogle Chrome is planning to fully remove support for unload events in the near future.✅ Suggested FixFacebook's fbevents.js should migrate to using: pagehide event visibilitychange eventThese are the
Problem statementI’m integrating Calendly’s scheduling widget into my website using the official embed script (<script src="https://assets.calendly.com/assets/external/widget.js"></script>).When Calendly’s script injects its <iframe> into the DOM, it does not include an allow attribute that permits use of the Payment Request API.As a result, browsers log the following console warning:[Violation] Permissions policy violation: payment is not allowed in this document. and payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay do not work inside the embedded Calendly iframe, even when Stripe is connected. Proposed solutionTo fix this, the iframe generated by your embed script should include an attribute like:<iframe ... allow="payment *; publickey-credentials-get *;"></iframe> This explicitly enables the Payment Request API (needed for Apple Pay and Google Pay) and WebAuthn within the embed, without relaxing any other permissions.Would it be possible for your team to u
if i create a one on one meeting , should this activity hit the group level webhook ?
Hi Calendly team and community,We support several US and UK based businesses that rely on Calendly for scheduling paid calls, demos, and services. Many of them are now expanding into India and are running into challenges around accepting local payments, especially UPI, without forming an Indian entity.Currently, these companies are using Merchant of Record and payment facilitation models such as (removed by moderator), which helps foreign businesses sell in India without local incorporation and enables UPI alongside standard credit card processing. Our questions are: Does Calendly support UPI or other India specific online payment services for paid bookings? If not, is there a recommended way to integrate Calendly with external payment processing services or Merchant of Record platforms? Are there any plans on the roadmap to support localized payment methods like UPI in addition to credit card processing for Indian customers? The goal is to allow Indian users to book through Calendl
Hey! I have this site where I want to embed a Calendy form. Sadly, once I embed the Calendy in my site with the cookie banner hidden, it still shows the cookie banner. As you can see in the image, I have embedded the Calendy. But on the left it says “?hide_hdpr_banner=1” (this is directly from the “hide cookie banner” function when embedding my Calendy) What to do?
An error occurredThe operation couldn't be completed.(CalendlyKit.APlError error 1.) every time I go into clients details this shows up! I am unable to access what I need to do to complete my sessions
