Hi everyone,This isn’t a question but rather an insight on something some might find useful. At the University of Sydney we use Calendly to manage our student-teacher academic advice sessions and use a large pool of staff in round robin events. This has created a lot of work for managers in completing rosters and then making lots of changes to availability on behalf of event hosts (the advisors) so we looked for a way to reduce this workload.Originally advisors were rostered using MS Teams Shifts of which there’s no direct integration with Calendly (at present) so I set out to create the link and we’ve recently trialled and successfully implemented a solution that automatically creates ‘busy’ and ‘shift’ entries into staff calendars that feed Calendly availability essentially automating the availability of events based on rostered shifts in MS Teams Shifts (providing a single holistic place to manage and view availability). This cuts out a significant amount of work and allows managers
I am curious if there is a way to set my hours to shift at a certain date. For example: I live on the West Coast and I currently have my availability set to my standard “West Coast Hours” calendar. I know I will be traveling in September for a few months to the East Coast, where I would like to set my availabilty to different times. However, I want my clients to be able to book with me seamlessly in advance. So, if I change my hours now, it will be on the wrong time zone for the current month. I would like to set it so that on X date my availability will shift to the correct calendar, so it automatically lets people start booking at the right times for me. Does this make sense? Changing to date-specific settings is a lot of upfront work when I just want an easy shift. Any help would be appreciated!
I embed the code into my site per instructions but the problem is the booking form isn’t showing up on the page it’s a hostinger site page don’t know if that matters
I've been exploring different ways to use Calendly and realized it's capable of much more than simply booking meetings. I'm curious how others are using it for consultations, customer onboarding, interviews, events, team coordination, or other workflows. What is the most creative or effective use of Calendly you've implemented, and has it helped save time or improve your scheduling process?
i am not able to schedule events on saturday and sunday, checked the availability and toggled saturday and sunday and checked the connected calender as well
Adding the ability for invitees to select from meeting duration options was great; however, in the way it is currently presented, it is practically unusable. Most users do not even notice the small downward arrow under the event name. Which means 99.99% of the users book the “default” duration option, when they may have preferred another duration. If we have to call the user’s attention to the duration selector when sending the booking link, then it becomes nearly pointless. It adds friction for us.Ideally, the duration selector would be either more prominent and/or required. For example, adding a “Meeting Duration” field under the event name with a standard drop-down box that begins blank with pre-text (“Choose one...” or something to that effect), and then once it is clicked and the user selects a duration, the availability populates to the right. Just a thought on how to implement. Of course, this would only be needed for events where multiple duration options have been set for the bo
J’ai un message de bienvenue dans mon profil qui n’apparaît pas quand des clients se connectent pour prendre un rendez-vous. Je ne sais pas comment faire pour que ce message apparaisse. Merci de votre aide
We have five salespeople setup in Calendly and assigned to managed events. In the notifications, I’d like to send recipients individual links to profile pages for the host however so far all I can find is a way to add generic links. There is a variable that I can add that shows who the host is but there’s no variable that I can find that adds a link to a specific ‘about me’ page on another site. I guess it’s a ‘host variable’ that I’m looking for.Does anyone have a workaround for this or is anyone at Calendly able to take this on as a suggestion please to add?
For a certain event when I go to create availability it won’t let me put up any times or dates I can’t choose any days
On my FREE plan when someone books an appointment do they get link to put on their Google Calendar?
I have 1-1 event type set up, where people will book in a time for a teams or zoom meeting. This meeting will also be sent to another person (outside my organisation) to attend. If circumstances arise that I am unavailable, will the other person be able to start the meeting?
I know this was requested a few years ago, but wanted to request the option for bookings to require approval before going onto the calendar. I know there are forms and workflows, but that doesn’t quite fit my needs (non-profit and need to manage meetings with clients). And I get the logic that “this adds one more step, and Calendly is about eliminating steps” - but that’s why I request this to be added as an option. For some users, this would be incredibly helpful. In my situation, I get meeting requests from non-clients that I don’t always want to take, but I like having my meeting link in my email signature and on my business card. I realize I can always cancel or unschedule a meeting with someone, but it would be a lot easier if I had the option to “require approval for meetings before adding to calendar.” Thanks for considering this.
The client’s meeting appears on the client contact information page, but is not showing up on my Calendar page. This just started happening. I’ve tried everything, including logging out and back on again, clearing cookies, hard refresh, etc. Nothing works.
I have paid the bill for standard plan, which is USD 12 but still it is not activated yet. I'm still in the free plan. The chatbot is useless, I’ve raised tickets with it 3 times already but haven’t got a single email for the same.
Hallo,Ik wil mijn agenda koppelen.De klant krijg wel de afspaak in de agenda geboekt.Ik zie in mij micosoft 365 outlook zakkelijke agenda geen afspraak staan. Waar gaat het fout?
I have gone through all of the instructions that the AI Chat bot suggested, everything is correct. What else can I do?
I’m scheduling interviews via a one-on-one event type. Multiple people have successfully booked their interview, and I’ve received the booking email, but I can not see any of them on my Meetings page. The only way I can view them in my Calendly account at all is by clicking “View in Calendly” at the bottom of the confirmation email and then it will open it in Meetings, but only as a panel view on the right of the screen. It’s showing my last meetings from 2025 and says no upcoming meetings. I have already ensured that the Meeting Settings are set to show all booking types.
Hi all,I'm trying to set a maximum booking window on one of my event types — for example, only allowing people to schedule up to 30 days out instead of the default range.I've looked through the Availability settings but I'm not finding a clear option for capping the booking window. Is this something that's configurable per event type, or is it a workspace-wide setting?A few specifics that might help:I'm on the [Standard/Teams — fill in your actual plan] This is for a 1:1 client consultation event type I'd like invitees to see availability only within the next 4 weeks, not further outAny guidance on where this setting lives (or whether it needs a workaround) would be really appreciated!
i have pain calendly subscription but still showing free plan, whom to contact?
Hi All,I’m new to Calendly and find I feel some anxiety & resistance to providing my clients the ability to book live events onto my real calendar. My client events are all-day affairs, so once they book an event, it removes that day from availability for other clients. I am aware of the ability to have their “event type” NOT mark my calendar as “busy”, but then that might cause another client to book the same date. I’d be interested to hear if others have had this experience, and your thoughts & solutions. I also have some concern re clients over-zealously reserving numerous dates (preemptively covering their potential future needs, and then cancelling later when they don’t need the date(s). I know this could be addressed with a Cancellation Policy, but I’ve never had that with my clients before, and am concerned of how that new change would be received by them. Thank you for your positive / helpful thoughts!
Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with the new Calendar page. Two invitees successfully booked meetings through my Calendly scheduling link. The bookings are confirmed, and when I export the scheduled events as a CSV file, both meetings appear correctly in the export. However, the Calendar page still shows 0 meetings and does not display either booking.I have already checked the date range, cleared all filters, refreshed the page, and logged out and back in, but the issue remains.Since the scheduled meetings are visible in the CSV export but not on the Calendar page, this appears to be a Calendar display issue rather than a booking or synchronization issue.Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known bug, and is there a temporary workaround?Thank you.
I have a consignment shop and want people to tell us when they are picking up thier items that did not sell. I don’t need to know a TIME they are coming in, just the DATE. They need to give us 48hr notice so we can pull their items off the racks. Can this be done using Calendly?
Yesterday I made our calendar unavailable on Fridays. But this morning someone was able to schedule a meeting for Friday?
