Does anyone know how I can manage multiple event types in Calendly so that the total number of participants across all events doesn’t exceed a combined limit (e.g., 16 participants), and also handle separate payments for each event type? Any advice on tracking the total, automatically closing bookings when the limit is reached, and managing different payments for each event type? Thanks!
I was asked to book a phone interview on someone else Calendar how do I do so
I want to make my scheduled bookings available on both a public-facing site and internally, with the following conditions:The public can book events up until two hours before the event. Within the two-hour window before the event, I want to prevent public bookings but still allow staff to book for walk-ins.I am aware of the "minimum notice" setting in Calendly, but I need to know if it allows staff to book customers within that two-hour window, even though public bookings are restricted. Is this possible with Calendly, and if so, how can I configure it?
I have put my availability at 10am - 5pm on a Tuesday, why does 2pm display, then jumps to 4pm?
We love the group scheduling feature, but asking people to add it to their calendar manually seems burdensome. Given the limitation noted in the article linked below that indicates that we can’t use Calendar Invites for a group schedule, has anyone found a workaround? Or an alternative scheduling tool that works in this case? Thanks so much!
I’d like to avoid short-notice meetings. I currently have recurring meeting availability three days per week, but I don’t want to share my calender with someone on a Monday only for them to schedule an opening on Tuesday or Wednesday. I’d rather keep bookings to at least one week out. Is there a way to set up auto-blocking my week-of availability? Or a plan to do so in the future?
I signed up recently to Calendly so that I could book meetings for my day to day business but also to get signups for my separately branded workshops. I am unclear about why this simple thing cannot be done. Is there a workaround that does not involve additional purchases and team coordinations (I am a sole consultant). Thanks so much. John
The “Location” variable, when used in reminder emails etc., actually inserts the word “Location: “ How can I make it so that it only inserts ONLY the input data?I want to add the custom location the client adds instead of “Other Location” Eg: Current Email ConfirmationLocation: Other LocationWhat I want: Location: 123 John Street SA
Hi, Perhaps something in Calendly setting had changed? Posting in case it helps others. I spent an hour researching and clicking around.I changed my Availability and it said changes saved (to a smaller number of hours). But the Booking page still reflected the wrong times. I had to go to the event, hit EDIT specifically to change the hours there. I don’t think it used to work like this. I only have one event type, and shouldn’t Availability override the specific event settings? What’s the point of setting Availability two times when there is only one type of event?(I can see if availability covering more hours and the specific event type is using fewer of those, this is the opposite)
I want to be able to create a managed event template that makes it so that when someone books a phone appointment with a member of the team, their specific number is sent to the person.(Yes, I realize I could go through manually for each user and set their specific number, but there are a number of appointment lengths and users and that would be reset when I went to un-assign and re-assign in the future.)
Hey All!I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to set my availability so that only the first available time slot is able to be booked, then once this is booked, the next time opens up?For example, if I have availability on a Tuesday for 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 etc, is there a way that only the 10:00 opening can be displayed on the booking page, then once this is booked, it shows availability for 10:30 and so on.
A client today received 8 notifications about our meeting 1 hour in advance. What’s going on and how can we fix this ASAP.Joan
How do I set up conversion tracking in Google Ads (not Google Analytics)? I am using Calendly Routing to have invitees complete a survey prior to scheduling an appointment. Ideally I’d like to see the following in Google Ads: (1) survey starts, (2) survey completions and (3) scheduled meetings. Thanks!
Hi ! What is the limit number of groups that can be created? Thanks!
Is it possible to offer dates in a personal location (tue, wed, thu) and online location the other days? Or do I have to create different event types for each? I am in the office only 3 times a week und want to offer meetings in personal on these days. The other days I do my meetings online. What is the best way for my issue? Thanks and best regards
I used to be able to see the phone number of the appointment in Outlook, and then I was reviewing my Calendly settings and added a location, thinking this would be an improved and now the Phone number doesn’t show in the Outlook calendar. I have removed the location and tried again without success. Please advise
It appears that I've been charged for over 3 years for unused accounts, nearly $2000. Despite these accounts being clearly inactive with inactive email addresses and undelivered invoices, Calendly has charged me for services not rendered. Respected companies should not take advantage of people's life circumstances, especially when they overlook these kinds of issues.
Hi, I’ve noticed that when scheduling a meeting with Calendly, it does not DIRECTLY add the invitee(s) to the calendar events. All it will show is myself in Google Calendar, not me plus the Invitee as if I had invited them directly. Is there a setting or way to do this? Because sometimes invitees lose the calendly email, and I feel like if they are DIRECTLY on the calendar itself, showing to me as well if they accepted or not, then thats a lot more likely to get them to pay attention to the meeting, particularly if it shifts around (which is what happened, I had to reschedule the meeting but the invitee didnt “pay attention”).Nathan
I have some clients who consistently cancel or reschedule at the last minute. Is there a way I can prevent them from booking in future? Or is there an option to block that clients email id?
Hi, I wish to cut out the first step for my customers. I only offer one service, so it just seems unnecessary. Is it possible to just start with the calendar picker? Thanks
I’m looking to set rules for my availability, however my schedule follows a 2 week pattern. How can I set my availability on specific days that apply every other week>?
set notification
I have a cancelation policy that does not allow clients to reshedule or cancel 24 hours or less before our session. 1. Am I right that there is no way to stop rescheduling/cancelations within Calendly?2. If so, is there a workaround?I am in great need of this function these days and despite having been with Calednly for many, many years I will have to move to another platform if this isn’t doable in some shape or form :(Thanks for your help.
Ideally, I’d like to send it to attendees only - not invitees who didn’t make it.However, it appears that it’s not possible to distinguish between attendees and invitees when setting up a workflow, even if I create a custom workflow.Am I missing something?
I was told by a business colleague that when they clicked on a time to book on my Calendly calendar, that it pulled up my personal calendar alongside the options to show availability. I know that happens at my end, but I did not know the one booking could see that. How can I stop that from happening? (I only want the times I’m available to show, not the times I’m booked and what I’m booked for, if that makes sense.) Thank you!
