Trying to figure out how to do that thing? We can help.

I saw numerous posts asking for this feature in the past, which I realize wasn’t happening for a while. This page in the help center on December 10, 2024, though, suggested that the ability to limit events by week had been added. When I look at my event menus, however, there is nothing for “More options” at the bottom. The menu for limiting max number of events is constrained to day, and the organization of options is not like they described in this post. Am I just missing something…? Has anyone gotten this to work?
Hello, Can you provide an update on the status of a feature that allows either:A host in a Round Robin event type to set their own maximum daily scheduled eventsA global setting within the Round Robin event type to define a maximum number of daily events per hostThe lack of this functionality creates significant challenges, and I’ve both received direct confirmation and seen community discussions (dating back over a year) indicating that this feedback was under consideration. I’d appreciate an update—ideally with details on whether this is planned for development. Looking forward to your response.
We are using a round robin event that is live on our website and landing pages for consultation bookings. Each host has sets their own availability and the event has a cap on the total number of bookings per day however some hosts are being over scheduled. Please ad a feature so that each host can set their own individual daily limits.Thank you.
I have a personal Calendly link that is set to 1:1 appts with the hours set to avail and capped at 3 event types a day. I am part of a team Calendly Round robin. This event type uses my hours and capped event settings. However, the issue is that I need 3 events a DAY capped. The issue is that 3 appts are booked in my personal link however the team Calendly is still allowing appts to be booked because the events caps don’t speak to each other it seems. HALP from the overbooked and overcooked.
We have multiple event types for different types of meetings. We wanted to set a limit on the number of meetings that can be booked in a day , irrespective of the event type. How to proceed on this ?
I have a user who wants to limit the number of event scheduled through Calendly. As she has about 25 event types, limiting each event type does not help, as her day could still be completely filled. Is there any way to only allow say 4 meetings scheduled a day for this user total, regardless of event type?
I would love for different event types to use a common daily limit. For example, let’s say I want my limit to be only one meeting per day, regardless of the event type. Then when someone tries to create a calendar entry for Event Type A but Event Type B already scheduled a meeting that day then Event Type A will not be able to use that day.I’m sure this is not as simple as it sounds but it would really enhance the benefit of me putting Pop-Up Widget enbedded scheduling to my website.
My wishlist for 2024: Maximum number of meetings for the weekI would LOVE to have the ability to do the following:Maximum number of meetings in a week for a certain event type Maximum number of total meetings for the weekWithout this, I can’t send a scheduling link to multiple clients all at once. I can send a link to one client, but need to wait til they schedule to send out a link to another client.Does anyone have a workaround? Thank you!
Hello! I have multiple events that are available weekly for multiple client groups. When they are all active and booking, I am running into the issue of booked-solid days. I already limit each event type to max bookings per day but because I have multiple events active at once, I also need to set a limit for the max total meetings per day I can be booked in for, across all my Calendly events. Is there such a way to do this yet?
Hello, we are planning to buy a few Calendly subscription but we discovered a feature is missing for our use case. In order not to overload a team member we would like to limit the maximum number of meetings (any type across multiple links) to a certain number for each week for each team member.I haven’t find anything similiar, the only way is to add a buffer between meetings but that’s not practical because they’re highly technical meetings and we want to keep them at 4-5 per week for each member and the only way to do that is add buffers and limit time availability but this is a limitation for the customers because they have fewer slots to chose from. Is there any plan to add this? Thanks
Is there any update on this question or a new feature? Thanks. I have six different events and at the moment people could book 3 per day (obviously way too many!) but I don’t want to restrict my hours or lower the limit on individual events and miss out on customers.Thank you, Kelly M Hi. I have already set limits for my various event types. However, I would like to limit the max number of meetings, including all event types in any given day. For example, if someone books one of my 4 hour timeslots, I want nothing else to be booked that day. But right now, someone else can book one of my 90 minute slots in the moring. Can I set an additional rule, and how do I do that?
It seems like there are several threads with related questions but not exactly this one, so my apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.I have multiple events on my calendly (15-min, 30-min and 1-hour meetings), and I would like to limit the TOTAL number of meetings people can book in a day, regardless of the length of the meeting. For example, if I want to limit my meetings to no more than 3 per day, even if those three meetings are 3 15-min meetings, 1 15-min and 2 30-min meetings, or 3 1-hour meetings. Let me know if any one has any thoughts. Thanks so much!
I have appreciated the ability to limit the number of meetings of a certain type that can be scheduled per day (under ‘additional rules for your availability’)… but would LOVE to be able to also limit the number of meetings of a certain type per week. My situation… for 2024 I have a personal goal to host a new acquaintance for lunch once a week… but afraid if I use my standard lunch Calendly invite with this group, I could end up with multiple in the same week… and I would prefer not to have to manually block my calendar to do so.
How do I set the limit on max meetings per day across all events? Here’s the situation. We are going into Budget season and need to have 1 person in several meeting types. However, that person should only have 1 meeting per day. Person 1 + Person 2 = 1 meetingPerson 1 + Person 3 = 1 meetingHow can I limit person 1 to one meeting per day? Currently, Calendly allows more than one meeting per day. This is due to the different event types set up for persons 2 and 3. In this example, Rebecca could have more than one meeting per day. I’ve read prior comments and I don’t know if this is possible. Do you have a suggested workaround? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
Hello, I am using Calendly for my Fishing Guide service. I offer multiple options and times throughout the day and week. I only want to do one trip per day no matter the time or type or location but I also want to be able to keep these options open to everyone to fit their schedule. How can I limit this? For example if someone books a morning trip for species X then I don’t want another person to book a night trip for species XX (different type of event). My wife uses Calendly often and she suggested a long buffer time, but that max is 3 hours. What I’ve been doing is when a booking happens for one type event, then manually going into each other type event and blocking out my availability for that date. It has become to much to manage with all the manual overrides. I understand you can limit specific events to 1 per day but is there an general overall availability to limit all events to one per day? What is the best way to do this?
Hi Thank you for the recent update enabling meeting limitations per event (daily, weekly, monthly). We would really like to see an option to limit overall meetings globally as well. This is the last piece of the Calendly puzzle we really need to fully automate our online meeting bookings. Without this we are still manually managing calendars which is defeating much of the point of an online booking system. We are a Financial Advice business and we hold different types of meetings with our clients depending on the stage of the process we are in. Different meeting types require different levels of pre-work and we can accommodate only so may per day and per week of each type and overall across all meeting types. A review meeting for instance requires substantial pre-work and at most we can comfortably accommodate 2 of these per day and 5 per week. Whereas an initial meeting requires almost no pre-work and we could comfortably accommodate 3-4 per day and over 10 per week. However, given th
I am attaching screenshots. I feel like I have followed as best as possible previous posts. Even creating an event on Google “Out of Office” different from their default so I could select “busy” did not work. Please help me figure out why this is not working for me to block in Google and not have it recognized by Calendly. Thank you!
I want to start entering my appointments that I schedule by phone through Calendly but I don’t always get their email address. Can I just enter the cell phone number?
A client and I are trying to schedule video interviews to take place over the course of a conference but I am not able to see what has been booked in the calendar (or with whom) even though I’m a co-host. Nothing is syncing to my Outlook either. Please help!
Up until recently synced Calendly meetings would show in my Outlook calendar in their allocated times, with a buffer simply showing as unallocated time. However these buffer times are now showing up in my Outlook calendar, in between these meetings (as if they were meetings themselves). I saw reports from a year ago that this has been fixed, but the buffers show up for me. How can I get the buffers to not appear on my calendar (like before).
Want to create a landing page that promotes or lists a specific group of events, not all of my events in Calendly, that I can use for my website
I created an event in 2026- it creates a link but the calendar will not open up past December 2025. I have a paid subscription past that time- how can I get to January 20206. PS Chat box doesn't open so I cannot get help. Help appreciated.
Guests dont get an email after booking a call on Calendly!
I’m setting up a Calendly meeting poll for the first time. I’d like to offer both an all-day option as well as two half-day options each on two different days, but once I have either the all-day or the two half-day windows selected on the calendar, it’s impossible to indicate the other(s). Does Calendly seriously allow only one meeting duration/poll, and if so, is there any way around this? Thanks!
A client reached out to tell me that she tried to make an appointment through my embedded Calendly booking app on my site, but it dodn’t appear to go through and she received no confirmation. Calendly shows no record of the appointment.I went to Stripe and found that the payment was listed as “Payment authorized, but not yet captured.” I could have captured it, but then I still wouldn’t have had a booking on Calendly or all the info gathered there. My question is - what exactly is causing this issue? Is this a Calendly integration issue? The client has tried several browsers on two devices. Each time, the booking fails and I have to cancel the held payment.
