Hi,I’m developing some webhook integrations to consume invitee.* events.We have both a dev and a prod environment and I was wondering if you have any guidelines, best practices, or support for how to set up the dev environment. The goals would be:Have dev and prod share as much as possible - ideally, the only difference would be how they are configured (signing keys, auth keys). Can i set a schedule specific to the location my attendee chooses? Eg opening additional time slots for zoom meetings?For reference I visit students when they are local to me but when they are not they choose a zoom meeting. This works great how it is set up, no problem there. But my schedule is set up assuming everyone will be in person, which ends up blocking out entire hours that students could book a zoom. I don’t need a buffer on a zoom only if i have to drive to a location. As my spots fill up Im running into a shortage of times for students to self choose.

While finishing a call with a client I made the mistake of rescheduling the event we were running right then. I was intending to reschedule the next booked event, as we had just agreed on a later date. I have a request for support and new feature in relation to this.Support request: Is there any way that I can undo the rescheduling of that event? (I’m assuming I can’t create a past and taken event!)I ask because now my records of number of sessions taken are incorrect, as the session taken this week appears to be in the future again, which effectively gives them a bonus session.Feature Request:When managing meetings in the Calendly web app, it will be clear that an event is in progress, so that a host/admin cannot accidentally reschedule a past and run event.My ideas, FWIW :)Put a LIVE! or IN PROGRESS! label next to the current event, if it is to appear in the Upcoming tab after start time. Immediately move current events into the Past tab of Meetings page when the start time has past.

I want to administer Calendly accounts for employees who will never be logging into Calendly and should never get any emails from Calendly. How do I do this? In particular, can I create accounts for these employees without specifying their email addresses?

Anyone else having an issue where the cancel meeting simply does’t cancel the meeting? The links are in the meetings, if I click the link it takes me to the page. I select canel event and the page looks like it refreshes but nothing happens, the meeting isn’t canceled.

Hi there. I saw this had posted a while ago. I am new to Calendly and I feel like I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps. I have “Indefinitely into the future” selected but I still cannot see anything 3 months or over. Is there a limit on the free account? Thanks for any assistance. 

 Someone calling themselves a legitimate business to send fake invitations for who knows what. Anything I can do to stop this? 

I manage a group of individuals who are assigned to a series of ‘managed events’.  We’ve recently made the shift from zoom to M365 Teams, and all individuals have integrated this app. From each managed event, I have removed zoom, and added M365 Teams to the location (see image 1).  However, this doesn’t seem to be reflected in the booking system (see image 2). How do I fix this fast so we don’t disrupt users.  

Greetings everyone, We use this option in the mobile app to hide the cookie banner, unfortunately, this option does not seem to work anymore. Is this isolate or did other people report this issue ?I was able to replicate this issue by simply appending “<event_url>?hide_gdpr_banner=1” to an event URL. Could the Calendly team take a look at this ? We operate from Belgium if that can help.

Hi Calendly team 👋I was wondering if it is possible for different Calendly event types to appear in different colors in Google Calendar?Right now all events seem to show up with the same color. If this isn't currently possible, it would be a really cool and very useful feature to have in the future.Thanks!

Hi — we are building a Calendly integration using the new Scheduling API (POST /invitees) and want to clarify how it interacts with event types that require payment. Question 1If an event type has “Require payment to book this meeting” enabled with Stripe or PayPal:When we create a booking via the Scheduling API (POST /invitees), does Calendly: trigger the same payment flow that occurs in the normal Calendly booking UI, or create the booking without requiring payment? In other words, is payment enforcement handled automatically when booking through the API?Question 2Is there a way to programmatically determine whether an event type is configured to require payment? Specifically, we want to know if there is a flag indicating something like: requires_payment: trueso we can decide whether to auto-book via API or redirect users to the Calendly booking page. Thanks in advance for your help.Nathan

Hi,I’m wondering which plan to subscribe to. If I need 2 different types of “event”, like one for a discovery call and one for a full appointment, can I use the free plan, or do I need to get the 1st level pay plan? thanks! 

Calendly shows a successful connection with my specified Outlook Calendar, but is not syncing correctly. My Calendly shows all days available but that isn't reflecting my actual Outlook calendar availability. So, they do not appear to be “talking”. Any suggestions? This is not a paid subscription.

I have noticed that when I create a single-use link for an event on Calendly, the availabilities for that event are frozen at the moment the single-use link is created.In practice, if I subsequently modify the availabilities by adding slots or making new days available, these are not usable by someone booking using that single-use link.I would like to know if this is a bug or... is it the behavior that Calendly intended to use for single-use links.I personally find it very limiting that availability is fixed. I would prefer that even for single-use links the real availability at the time of booking be used. Thanks,

How do I make it so that when someone books an appointment, they have to enter their phone number? There's only an option to enter the phone number, and I want it to be a required field. Do they need to be contacts for it to be an auto-filled field?Thanks! 

We have reported this problem a number of times. Please let us know that your engineers can fix it! It’s a real problem when our clients (who can be located anywhere in the world) miss out on an appointment to get (sometimes crucial) legal documents witnessed. 

Dear Calendly Community,we are using a 90-minute Collective Event with three hosts in our organization.Our desired scenario is: Host A (CEO) should attend only the first 30 minutes of the meeting. Hosts B and C should attend the full 90 minutes. Currently, when a booking is made, the full 90 minutes are blocked in Outlook for all three hosts.Our specific question:Is it possible within a Collective Event to configure different attendance or calendar blocking durations per host?If this is not supported:What would be the recommended best-practice solution within Calendly (e.g., routing forms, combined events, workflows, or another configuration) to implement this setup?Thank you in advance for your guidance.Kind regards,Francisco

Our AI notetaker, Jump, does not show up into teams meetings unless manually added into meetings that are scheduled through Calendly.  Do we need to request an integration to add this in or is there a setting that we can turn on to have it added in automatically.

Hello,My team and I use Calendly to schedule student appointments for advisees. We have multiple event types like, New Student, Returning Student, Walk-in, etc. We would like to know if there is a way to quickly see the number of slots left in a date range for a specific event type. For example. Can I see how many more places on my calendar a students could book a “New Student Appointment” between now and August 1st? I don’t need the specific times, just the number of available times with the current settings and holds.I know I could open my scheduling link and count them individually, but that is a lot of days, and a lot of times… Thanks for your help!

Hello,When we send a request to the /shares endpoint with a Round Robin Event URI such as:{ "event_type": "https://api.calendly.com/event_types/the-relevant-uri"}the host availability is overwritten or not respected, even though the request does not override the values set in the Event Type. My reading of the documentation, particularly:Note: Any parameter which is not provided in the request body will be copied from the target event type. would suggest that the availability in the Event Type should be used.  We’re not seeing that. Currently we have hosts who’s earliest availability is 8AM Pacific, but just had an event book for 6am Pacific.  What are we doing wrong? 

As soon as I click on the On/Off toggle button, it brings me this pop-up.The chatbot couldn’t understand the issue, and I don’t know why this is suddenly happening… as I was able to switch easily from 15-min to 30-min previously. 

Hi, I want to connect a specific event to a specific stripe payment link which allows a basic payment and a tip option.However, when configuring the event all I can see is a stripe link and fixed price, and in the integration it’s an all/nothing approach.Is it possible to connect a given event to a specific payment link, because not only can you configure the tip option to allow additional payments, but you can create custom text around the payment.Is this possible?Best, Matthew

Hello anyone know how to talk with a live person, bought calendly but regretting it now as just cant get through to a live person and it wont accept my tax number nor am I able to add an event that spans several days I really need to talk with some one as its delaying bookings now. Does anyone have the email that works as have been clicking and clicking and just going round in circles they havent made it easy to get in touch. Any way Happy New Year.
