Hi Calendly team 👋I was wondering if it is possible for different Calendly event types to appear in different colors in Google Calendar?Right now all events seem to show up with the same color. If this isn't currently possible, it would be a really cool and very useful feature to have in the future.Thanks!

Hi — we are building a Calendly integration using the new Scheduling API (POST /invitees) and want to clarify how it interacts with event types that require payment. Question 1If an event type has “Require payment to book this meeting” enabled with Stripe or PayPal:When we create a booking via the Scheduling API (POST /invitees), does Calendly: trigger the same payment flow that occurs in the normal Calendly booking UI, or create the booking without requiring payment? In other words, is payment enforcement handled automatically when booking through the API?Question 2Is there a way to programmatically determine whether an event type is configured to require payment? Specifically, we want to know if there is a flag indicating something like: requires_payment: trueso we can decide whether to auto-book via API or redirect users to the Calendly booking page. Thanks in advance for your help.Nathan

Calendly shows a successful connection with my specified Outlook Calendar, but is not syncing correctly. My Calendly shows all days available but that isn't reflecting my actual Outlook calendar availability. So, they do not appear to be “talking”. Any suggestions? This is not a paid subscription.

I have noticed that when I create a single-use link for an event on Calendly, the availabilities for that event are frozen at the moment the single-use link is created.In practice, if I subsequently modify the availabilities by adding slots or making new days available, these are not usable by someone booking using that single-use link.I would like to know if this is a bug or... is it the behavior that Calendly intended to use for single-use links.I personally find it very limiting that availability is fixed. I would prefer that even for single-use links the real availability at the time of booking be used. Thanks,

How do I make it so that when someone books an appointment, they have to enter their phone number? There's only an option to enter the phone number, and I want it to be a required field. Do they need to be contacts for it to be an auto-filled field?Thanks! 

We have reported this problem a number of times. Please let us know that your engineers can fix it! It’s a real problem when our clients (who can be located anywhere in the world) miss out on an appointment to get (sometimes crucial) legal documents witnessed. 

Dear Calendly Community,we are using a 90-minute Collective Event with three hosts in our organization.Our desired scenario is: Host A (CEO) should attend only the first 30 minutes of the meeting. Hosts B and C should attend the full 90 minutes. Currently, when a booking is made, the full 90 minutes are blocked in Outlook for all three hosts.Our specific question:Is it possible within a Collective Event to configure different attendance or calendar blocking durations per host?If this is not supported:What would be the recommended best-practice solution within Calendly (e.g., routing forms, combined events, workflows, or another configuration) to implement this setup?Thank you in advance for your guidance.Kind regards,Francisco

Our AI notetaker, Jump, does not show up into teams meetings unless manually added into meetings that are scheduled through Calendly.  Do we need to request an integration to add this in or is there a setting that we can turn on to have it added in automatically.

Hello,My team and I use Calendly to schedule student appointments for advisees. We have multiple event types like, New Student, Returning Student, Walk-in, etc. We would like to know if there is a way to quickly see the number of slots left in a date range for a specific event type. For example. Can I see how many more places on my calendar a students could book a “New Student Appointment” between now and August 1st? I don’t need the specific times, just the number of available times with the current settings and holds.I know I could open my scheduling link and count them individually, but that is a lot of days, and a lot of times… Thanks for your help!

Hello,When we send a request to the /shares endpoint with a Round Robin Event URI such as:{ "event_type": "https://api.calendly.com/event_types/the-relevant-uri"}the host availability is overwritten or not respected, even though the request does not override the values set in the Event Type. My reading of the documentation, particularly:Note: Any parameter which is not provided in the request body will be copied from the target event type. would suggest that the availability in the Event Type should be used.  We’re not seeing that. Currently we have hosts who’s earliest availability is 8AM Pacific, but just had an event book for 6am Pacific.  What are we doing wrong? 

As soon as I click on the On/Off toggle button, it brings me this pop-up.The chatbot couldn’t understand the issue, and I don’t know why this is suddenly happening… as I was able to switch easily from 15-min to 30-min previously. 

Hi, I want to connect a specific event to a specific stripe payment link which allows a basic payment and a tip option.However, when configuring the event all I can see is a stripe link and fixed price, and in the integration it’s an all/nothing approach.Is it possible to connect a given event to a specific payment link, because not only can you configure the tip option to allow additional payments, but you can create custom text around the payment.Is this possible?Best, Matthew

Hello anyone know how to talk with a live person, bought calendly but regretting it now as just cant get through to a live person and it wont accept my tax number nor am I able to add an event that spans several days I really need to talk with some one as its delaying bookings now. Does anyone have the email that works as have been clicking and clicking and just going round in circles they havent made it easy to get in touch. Any way Happy New Year. I recently upgraded to add a user to my Calendly account, but the user has been unable to access or use the seat due to an error stating they're "already in a different organization." We've been unable to resolve this on our end, which means we were charged for a seat that was never actually usable by them. I'd like to request a refund for this charge, but I tried emailing support last month and got no reply. I thought the plan was sorted, but Calendly was still trying to charge me for 2 people. Turns out, the invite was still active and, thus, I was getting charged for it. The 2-seat payment hasn’t gone through, so how can I also revert my subscription to a 1-seater before the payment (for the 1-seater) is let through.https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/requests/new is telling me to find a ChatBot and reach support that way. “Click the chatbot in the bottom-right corner of any Calendly page”, but no where on any page do I see the ChatBot.

There’s no getting around the fact I’m just pretty Zoomed out by the afternoon, which means that I’d love to block off my afternoons, but only on some of my event types. Not all of them. Can I do that without having to put blocks on my regular calendar?

I deleted several old pending users that never signed up. My IdP is Microsoft Azure / EntraID. However the pending list did not update and the seats are still occupied. I have 267 group members in Entra IDIn Calendly I see 256 active users + 23 pending = 279 seats taken. 

Hi- I set up the integration with my new Stripe account so that I can take payments for events. Is there a way to test that integration without doing an actual payment before I make this live on my website? Thanks

I initially set the  Invitee limit to a group event to 10.I later on decided to change it to 9 (I needed to save a spot for someone).It did display 9 in the event itself, but as people kept booking, the emails I got sent still displayed “X of 10”.Today, the 10th spot was booked without me having changed it back to 10 (thankfully, it was by the person I’d saved it for).So it seems that if you change the Invitee limit AFTER you’ve created the event, it doesn’t work.Am I missing something?

I like to keep certain parts of my calendar clear, and Calendly lets me set availability blocks. But sometimes I want to offer a broader range of availability to a VIP.  That is, normally my availability might be 10AM-4PM but I want to offer 9AM-5:50PM to important contacts. So…I’d like a way to specify “VIP Availability” that is broader than general availability, andI’d like a way to specify a link so that the person can pick a slot off the expanded “VIP availability” versus the “normal availability”. Does that make sense?

I can’t edit the fees which I entered once for an event type. Edit event > more options > payments (where the old amount shows), shows payment processor > Integration. There is no option available to edit the amount I entered once. I find it strange ! Let me know if there is any way to edit that amount How can someone book my hourly slots in bulk, instead of going through the whole booking process for each hour ?

Hello,I am new to Calendly and my first attempts have not been successful.As a children's coach, I would like to offer two types of events on this platform:- 20-minute “discovery” calls for parents- One-hour individual coaching sessions for children.These would take place on different dates and times.The goal would be to integrate the link directly into my website. Is it possible to offer both on the same schedule? If so, how do I do that?Thank you in advance for your help.

We have two employees with the same events set up. On one person’s account, the cancel and reschedule links appear as expected in the event info on Google Calendar, and clicking on them on their calendar allows our admins to cancel or reschedule the event on behalf of a client who has called in. On the other person’s it does not appear. Instead, we get a link that says “Note: Should you need to cancel or reschedule the event, we recommend you use the cancel and reschedule features from your Calendly Scheduled” with a link that prompts clients to log into Calendly. How do we resolve this? As admin, I’ve looked everywhere for a way to fix this, but as far as I can see, the settings for both employee’s Calendly events are identical, so why does it work for one and not the other? 

Hi when I started using calendly some time ago, it was possible to allow or prevent customers from canceling or rescheduling planned meetings.I haven’t found this options in the actual calendly version. How can I prevent customers from canceling or rescheduling planned meetings? Thanks a lot werner
