In a given month I may be in three different global time zones. Pacific, China, Europe. I understand that I can change my time zone in my availability, but that doesn’t help people who want to book time with me in two weeks when I’m in a different time zone. I’m happy keeping my same working hours on each day...but want them in the time zone I will be in, not the time zone I am in now. Is there any way of doing this other than choosing a “master time zone” and then manually adjusting the times for each day I will be in another time zone?
Hello, when people try to book a meeting they see this error: Oops, something went wrong.Your meeting request could not be finalized with this host. If you feel you've reached this message in error, please reach out to support with below error code. Even when I try to preview the booking page here in Calendly and try to schedule a test event I see the same error.Has anyone seen similar problem? Any idea? Will appreciate any help.
Scenario / QuestionWhy aren’t my date-specific hours showing on my booking page after I set them? OverviewMost often, date-specific hours don’t appear because the schedule wasn’t applied to the correct event type or an availability rule is blocking the time. First, confirm the schedule with your date-specific hours is active on the event type you’re checking. Then use Calendly’s Troubleshooting availability tool on your live booking page (while logged in) to see the exact reason a time is unavailable, like a busy calendar event, minimum notice, duration, or buffers. Step-by-StepApply your schedule to the right event: Open your schedules page and check the Active On setting. If it says 0 events, pick the event type(s) that should use this schedule, then save. Open the Troubleshooting tool: Visit your public booking page while logged in and click Troubleshoot at the bottom of the window to analyze a specific date/time and see why it’s blocked or open. Check for external calendar conflict
Scenario / QuestionCalendly isn’t integrating with my Outlook calendar. Events aren’t blocking off my availability or adding to my Outlook. How do I fix this? OverviewMost Outlook issues come down to either an incorrect calendar connection or how busy/free status is set. Calendly only treats events marked Busy on your connected calendars as conflicts, and will book over events marked Free. If events aren’t adding to Outlook at all, disconnect and reconnect your Outlook/Office 365 calendar from Calendar Connections and choose the correct calendars to check for conflicts and to add new events to. Step-by-StepConfirm your availability setup: Make sure your Availability Schedules in Calendly reflect when you want to be bookable. Calendly shows availability based on these schedules and your calendar conflicts. Verify your calendar connection: Go to your account menu > Calendar Connection (Calendar Connections page). Confirm you’re connected to the correct provider (Office 365/Outlook.com
Hi everyone,I’m running into an issue where the availability setup on my Calendly booking link doesn’t seem to sync properly with the availability I show on my website. My site displays open booking slots for my restaurant-related content (basically letting visitors choose times for reservations, menu consultations, or blog interviews), but some slots appear available on my website even though Calendly is showing them as already booked.I’ve double-checked the integration steps my site is pulling the embed code directly from Calendly, and I’ve also tried clearing caches and testing across different browsers. The strange part is that the issue seems intermittent: sometimes the slot availability updates instantly, and other times it lags by several hours, which is creating confusion for users who try to reserve a time that isn’t actually open.Has anyone else experienced this kind of sync or refresh issue with availability between Calendly and a website embed? I’m wondering if I need to a
Hi CalPal!We’ve heard your concerns about keeping your account safe. Security is something we take very seriously at Calendly. To that end, we’ve made some updates your account’s security, you might have noticed when signing in. Below is a brief summary of some of the changes. If you want to know more, check out the Security & Compliance area in our Help Center. Am I Safer?Yes! If you’ve recently seen new prompts while logging in, this is why. We’ve implemented:Two-factor authentication (2FA) Login verification for email + password users What is two-factor authentication (2FA) and why should I use it? If your login is your front door then 2FA is both the lock and the deadbolt for your account. When you turn it on, you’ll enter your password plus a one-time code from an authenticator app, ie. Google Authenticator.Cause: Passwords can be guessed or stolen.Effect: A code from your phone ensures only you can log in.Even if you don’t enable 2FA, you might still see a one-time code email
I just found out that my organization has a group account that I’ve now moved to. But I included the old link in the signature of my emails for the past year. When someone clicks on that link, I want it to show an error message. Or not connect. I don’t want them to look at my calendar and try to find an availability date when there is none. Thank you!
Scenario / QuestionI travel frequently. How can I show the right availability across different time zones in Calendly? OverviewCalendly does not let you set different time zones for specific dates on a schedule. Instead, use Date-specific hours to adjust the hours shown during your travel dates to match your working hours in the destination’s time zone. You’ll need to convert times yourself before entering them; a third-party time zone converter can help. Step-by-StepDecide your working hours for the destination: Determine the local working window you want to keep while traveling (for example: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM in New York). Convert those hours to your account’s current time zone: Use a time zone converter to translate the destination hours back to your Calendly schedule’s time zone (for example: convert 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern to 6:00 AM–2:00 PM Pacific). Open your Availability: In Calendly, go to your Availability. Add Date-specific hours: Create Date-specific hours for the exact trave
Scenario / QuestionHow do I change my Calendly slug (URL) for my main scheduling page or for an event type? OverviewYou can change your main Calendly scheduling page URL from your account menu. Changing this URL will break previously shared links to all of your events, so be sure to update any places you’ve shared it. You can change the event link (slug) for individual one-on-one event types from the event editor. This is not available for Group or Round Robin events. Step-by-StepChange your main scheduling page URL: Click your profile picture in the top-right of any Calendly page, then select My Link Enter your new link, then select Save Changes. Previously shared links to your events will no longer work. Change the URL for a one-on-one event type: Open the event type editor, then go to More options > Booking page options. At the top, find Event link, edit the URL field, then select Save changes or Save and close. This option is available for one-on-one events only. Key Notes &
I’ve inquired multiple times over the years about when Calendly is going to incorporate collecting tax on paid events. Since Stripe is already an integration, it’s easy to enable Stripe Tax (https://stripe.com/en-ca/tax) and have appropriate tax rules apply. It’s the least amount of effort required to implement tax rules for events that collect a fee.
Scenario / QuestionMy Google Calendar is connected to Calendly, but my availability on my booking page isn’t updating. Events marked busy on my Google Calendar aren’t removing times from my Calendly availability. What should I check and how can I fix it? OverviewCalendly only removes times from your booking page when it can check all relevant calendars for conflicts and those events are marked Busy. Ensure your calendars are shared with the connected account with read/write permissions and are selected under Check for conflicts. If sharing or selections were updated after connecting, reconnecting your calendar can resolve sync glitches. Step-by-StepConfirm Calendly checks the right calendars for conflicts: Open your Calendar Connection settings and verify that the calendars you rely on appear and are selected under Check for conflicts. Verify Google Calendar sharing and permissions: In Google Calendar on a computer, open Settings and sharing for each relevant calendar. Under Share with
I have seen and totally agree with the complaints about the size of the scheduling window pane. Just not pratical. Are there any plans to revert or improve this?I for one am out if not
I just scheduled an event myself and cancelled it as a test. Now that time slot has disappeared and I need to schedule a client for that time. Can someone help me? Does it mean every time someone cancels an event, that time slot isn’t available for the next person? Thank you.
We have a team using round robin bookings. On the scheduler we previously used we were able to search by email and see if a lead had an upcoming meeting already scheduled before reaching out. On Calendly, I can search meetings scheduled with me directly, but need an efficient way for my team and I to check if any of us have been scheduled through round robin. Any suggestions appreciated. If there isn’t a way to do this, we may need to consider returning to our old scheduling tool.
I can’t seem to understand why the duration is causing me to not be able to book this event.
I’ve tried a search but didn’t see a solution. I’ve read the help article suggested by the chat bot, I’ve watched youtube videos on set up. It looks like on my end Calendly is talking to google, but only one way.A person books via a calendly link I receive the email and that booking shows up in my google calendar. However, Calendly is allowing people to book times that are taken already. I’ve attached screenshots to hopefully help. Setting page:Appointment Booking Landing Page:My Actual work calendar for same day. Above someone is able to select times ranging from 9am through 10am, however I’ve got entries in google calendar that would result in double bookings and I can’t find a setting to make this a two way communication:I appreciate the help.
Dear Calendly, I am another Calendly user who has been trying to work around the fact that Calendly is not integrated directly with Google My Business. While I understand that I can add Calendly to my Google My Business account, the lack of direct integration means that the very visible BOOK ONLINE BUTTON is unavailable. I understand from reading other posted questions on this subject that Calendly is considering this problem. I would like to have an update on your timeline for Google My Business integration. If such integration is not scheduled in the shortterm future then I, like many others I assume, will be forced to change to another booking App which has Google My Business Integration .For many sole practitioners whose business traffic works quite extensively through Google and their review system, the lack of a direct visibility BOOK ONLINE BUTTON on our My Business profile page is severly detrimental to our practices. I am a wellbeing coach and many of my clients find me throug
Several people have booked time with me this week through my “Personal” event. Since I do not use a calendar that syncs with Calendly, I manually adjust the time the calendar shows for those events not booked by Calendly.Otherwise, I expect Calendly to block those slots that people have reserved thru it to prevent overbooking. This is not the case. For example: on SEP13 a meeting was booked at 10AM EDT for SEP 25. The attached screen cap shows that 10am is still showing as available. This is one of several instances.Obviously this is problematic.
Hi everyone, I have one event, which is a cooperation. And for only that one I want to change the Logo. Is there any possibility? Thanks a lot for your help! Best regards from Jenny
Bonjour,Je narrive pas à connecté calendly à mon google calendar comment puis je procéder?
I have Calendly synced with google meet. It automatically creates a meeting code when someone books in. Myself & a client join this pre-scheduled meeting. It is only always just me and 1 other person but every time the meeting gives me a count down at 1 hour? Anyone know what could be going wrong? How do I stop this happening?I’ve asked this in the Google Meet help & they say to ask here ...
I have two different types of meetings set up over different days but I can only see one of the meeting types when I select ‘Meetings@. Why is this please?
Hello everyone,I’m owner of SR Blinds a website showcasing our custom window coverings (not an e-commerce store). in UK. We’d like visitors to book free in-home measuring appointments via Calendly directly on our site.Specifically, I’m looking for: A simple way to embed the Calendly scheduling widget on a static website. Tips for customizing the booking form to capture room dimensions and customer address. Any code snippets, embed options, or best practices would be really helpful. Thanks!
I have seen the other posts on this but can’t comment to add my voice in too as they have been marked as closed. I just paid an annual payment for Calendly before realising that you can’t add recurring appointments. This is super frustrating and I would not have signed up if I had realised, I see my clients weekly and paid for Standard so they could get reminder texts, but if I schedule them in - they won’t get the text as it only asks for name and email. This is a huge fault. I will most likely use another software, which sucks as I really enjoy everything else about Calendly. Can we please get some sort of timeline on this? I see it has been requested for years.
I’m trying to reschedule an appointment from tonight to tomorrow evening, but my availability won’t update. I’ve added the additional time to my availability for tomorrow, did the Troubleshoot, cleared my cookies, but the new availability won’t show up when I reschedule. Any ideas??
