How Do I...?

Hi, I want to use calendly to schedule 1:1 sessions with around 50 experts. I want students to be able to:Choose from the experts, see their availability and then schedule.  Choose their preferable time and then see who is available for session on that specific time. Is that possible? 

I see the closed thread. I have it disabled. But it still shows. On every browser, on every machine, on every device. We are on a professional plan. It doesn’t make any sense.

A client scheduled with me for “12:00pm - Friday, November 22, 2024 (Eastern Time - US & Canada)” however, when they received a meeting invite, it says “Friday Nov 22, 2024 ⋅ 5pm – 5:30pm (Coordinated Universal Time).” This led to meeting cancellation and confusion for both of us. My Outlook calendar that my scheduling page synced to has the proper time zone, as does my Calendly account itself. 

We have staff who work fully remote one day a week, but in-office all other days. We would really like to offer meeting types within the same event form, but can’t because there is no way to limit a location based on day of the week. We would really love a feature that allows locations options within the same event to be variable based on day/date. For example, if someone chose a meeting on Monday, they may see phone, Zoom, or in-person as options, but if they chose Wednesday they would see only phone or Zoom. Because we don’t have this feature we have to have two events for the same type of meeting, the only difference being location options, where we can limit the in-person event to only being 4 days of the week instead of 5, but this makes limiting the total number of meetings in a day difficult.A routing form is not ideal for this, because then someone has to choose the day of the week they “may” pick but not see all available options if they know a time they want to have but don’t

Say we have 3 sales people and 4 technical advisors. We want to show booking availability when any 1 sales person is available and any 1 advisor is available. It does not matter who, we just want to make sure we have one person each. Is this possible to do with Calendly? I looked through documentation and don’t think this is possible, but wanted to check.

When a customer selects a time for a meeting, it add myself and co-host to my calendar but the customer is not included.  They receive a separate calendar invite and we aren’t included on that one.  If I manually add them to the one that was scheduled on my calendar, they now have 2 calendar entries.

Calendly started sending notifications of meeting bookings to junk. So I have added notifications@calendly.com and @calendly.com to my safe list. However, I now no longer receive any email notification of scheduling at all.How can I fix this? Today I have had no emails in junk, inbox or any other folder of 5 meetings that have been booked.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. 

Hi!  I am trying to set up 20 specific dates for group CPR classes.  The classes occur at specific times of the day over a one-month time period.  Some of the dates will need to allow for up to 6 students to select that date.  Other dates need to allow for 12 students.  Students will be given one calendar link and all 20 dates should be available as options so they can select the date for the class they wish to attend, assuming there are still seats/appointment slots available at that date/time.  I’ve read every resource I can find, but I can’t seem to schedule these group events correctly.  Could someone tell me how to proceed step-by-step.  (I’m on the standard plan = $10/month)  Thank you!

Hi there, my friends, I see that we can set a limit on the number of events/day.But my events are of varying lengths ranging from 15 minutes to 8 hours.So, limiting events makes no sense - for me - and, I’m guessing, for others. What I need to limit are the total number of hours per day. So, is there a way to do that?I ask because it seems that limiting factor is the number of hours/day - a much more useful because it's the number of hours available in the day that’s the true, real world limit. Not the number of events. Anyone else? 

We are a 2 member teamWe have a meeting type in which either of us can conduct the meeting on our own. We both will be available to take the meeting but on different days. For example: Member 1 is available tues and thurs and member 2 is available wed and sat. We want the customer link to display the availability of both members calendars and choose the time that works best for them. This should not be on a rotating round robin.  

Trying to connect my calendly to my stripe account in integrations and the button “connect” on strip is disabled or not clicking.What is the problem? Please give me step by steps. I need help! thanks

Depending on the size of our clients, we sometimes need to reschedule booked appointments within our team. Unfortunately, Calendly always cancels the original appointment and creates a new one when rescheduling. The "appointment cancellation" email causes a lot of confusion for our clients. Simply blocking the new time in the calendar of our senior while keeping the old appointment active isn’t a good option either, as it negatively impacts our booking stats.Have you had similar experiences? How do you handle this?And is there any hope that Calendly will address this issue in the near future?

Dear all,I’ve been using a booking event for appointements for a year or so, even printing the qr code on my business cards and so far, it has worked perfectly fine.But, I’ve recently changed the title of my event and it has also modified the qr code. Since then the bookings are not possible from the previous qr code printed on my business cards.I’ve tried to modify the title of the event, unsuccessfull effect on the qr code on my business cards.Do you have any idea on how I can come back to this initial link between ?Thank you

hey there, I was wondering if anybody has a similar issue. we noticed that some people doesn’t see the embed calendars, not only from Calendly, but also from Hubspot. it seems like some local issue, maybe with VPN, some specific extra plugins blocking the display of the calendars?

Hello there,I would like to sync my iCloud calendar with Calendly so that Calendly knows when I already have appointments scheduled. However, following these steps, I encounter the problem that iCloud sync is not selectable anywhere. Only Google, Outlook, and Exchange calendar sync options are offered. The same issue arises under Integrations & Apps >> Calendars, where no iCloud sync can be found either.Is there another way to do this?ThanksOliver

I use two types of event - round robin and managed events.For round robin, I have edit permissions set to “view only” for my team. Each team member’s default availability is used for the round robin event type and they can’t change this. On their account availability page, the “Active on” option for this event type is turned on and greyed out, and they don’t have the option of turning it off. i.e. default schedule is enforced. For managed events, I have edit permissions off for availability settings. The team member is not able to adjust their availability on the event page type. However, on their account availability page, they are able to turn off default schedule for this event type. When it’s switched off, changes made at the account availability level don’t push through to the event type (as you’d expect). But it’s not possible to go into the event type and make changes directly. For me, it seems rational that if someone is assigned to a managed event and the availability part of

Hi all, I am beginner here, and have a question. I want to track Google ad performance whenever an appointment is booked using Calendly.  I have seen few very technical (for me) articles, and I am wondering if there is a simple way to do it. One idea I have is to create a Calendly event type dedicated to Google ads, and use that link. So, all booking on the event type are from Google ads. I do not know if it would work - or if there are simpler and direct  methods available. Thanks, Ram

Hello, with the Robin Round tool we have two events with two different host at the same time. But the calendar just show one event. The second event at the same time is not available in the calendar tool. So no client can book the second event with the other host.  What can I do?
