I am new to Calendly and unsure of how to move forward setting up my first event type. I’d like to create an event where multiple clients can meet with me in a single time slot. Help!
A Calendly Teams page is a shared scheduling page that allows multiple members in your organization to share their availability and allow others to book meetings with them. It is designed to facilitate team scheduling and collaboration.Events set up on a team page allow for more control and functionality, including the ability to automate tasks with Workflows. Check out this help center article for more details on getting started: Set up a team page On the other hand, a Calendly User Group refers to a grouping or categorization of Calendly users based on common characteristics such as their roles, departments, location or any other relevant criteria. User Groups are a feature primarily used for administrative or reporting purposes rather than scheduling. You can read about Groups in more detail here: An overview of groups
I created a meeting with a customer, but had to update the Zoom link. They ended up showing up at the old link that I replaced. Can you help me understand how to fix this?
Why isn’t my availability showing correctly on my Calendly page? There are times that shouldn’t be available and times that should be, and things look wrong.
I am interested in setting up an event type that allows multiple team members to meet with invitees. Help!
I have a lot of people booking appointments via Calendly but have been running into issues with folks not getting the invitations or emails from Calendly and thus missing the appointment. I’ve since setup reminder emails to keep them informed, but also understand there may be some Google related stuff happening that’s causing this. How can I rectify it?
Hey there Calendly Community! At first glance, communities can seem like a lot: noisy, busy, and maybe even a bit chaotic. But here’s the deal - with a bit of intentionality, you can get so much from just a little time spent here. Want to know how?Search Before Posting: Before hitting that “New Topic” button, take a moment to search the community. There’s a solid chance that someone else has asked something related to your question. And hey, it could even be the answer. This saves you time and as a scheduling efficiency tool, we love nothing more. Ask Great Questions: Great questions don’t need to be advanced, deep, or intricate. Great questions are made up of clear elements, context, and examples when possible. Learn more here. Engage in Conversations: As your resident introvert, the idea of breaking into an ongoing conversation with complete strangers in person is actually terrifying. But communities are different. You are all strangers and other strangers will be grateful for your in
I read something about Calendly Tracking and Google Analytics, but it’s all pretty confusing. I would like to track clicks and engagement. Help!
I have integrated with MS Teams and set MS Teams as the event type location in my one-on-one, group and collective event types. However, there is no MS Teams video conferencing link included in my booking confirmations to invitees, and under the “scheduled events” tab I see the below “action required” error when clicking “details” on a booking. How do I fix this?
When I used Calendly for the very first time, it was from the invitee’s perspective. I was applying to jobs and found many hiring managers to be using Calendly to schedule interviews. It sure did make booking easy, breezy, beautiful - but I was left confused and without anywhere to turn for help, a few times, too.Once, I got an email telling me when my interview was and that it was to take place via Zoom, but there was no Zoom link included in the email. I wasn’t sure what to do - was I supposed to reach out to the interviewer or to Calendly support? Now, I’m aware that Calendly support cannot assist an invitee with a missing Zoom link and that I needed to reach out directly to the person I was meeting with. I wish I’d known that clearly and without a doubt, back then! What is one thing that you wish you’d known in your early days as a Calendly user or an invitee booking via Calendly? Discuss in the comments, and perhaps we can all learn something! 🤗
How does Calendly work, and what specific features does it offer to streamline scheduling processes for individuals and businesses?
My Calendly embed isn’t displaying the way I think it should be on my website. What are some things I should check?
I am considering upgrading to a paid Calendly plan from my free - basic plan, but I am unsure about what plan to select and what I’ll get when I do. How do I make this decision?
I have integrated with Zoom in Calendly, but when an invitee books with me via my Calendly booking page, there is no Zoom link included in the booking confirmation. Help!
I know you’re probably wondering “what’s the difference between Team events and Shared events?”. You can create the same type of events and the booking process is the same so what’s the main difference? Well, it depends on your scheduling needs. In short, shared event types are designed for quick collaborations with anyone in your organization while team events are designed for cross-collaboration. Shared events are ideal for ad-hoc meetings or short-term meetings. The great thing about shared events is that you don’t need an admin or the owner to create the meeting. You are able to create a shared event right from your Calendly account and add a colleague. For example, if you and another colleague are working together on a project and need to meet with an external client every week for the duration of the project, you can create a shared collective event type for you and your colleague. You can then invite that external client to book with you both. Since the project is only for a
Great question! For this, you’ll want to adjust your start time increments to equal the duration of your event in order for 9am to be the only time available to book. To do this, from your Home page, select your event type. Once in the event type settings, expand the “When can people book this event” section. In this section, you can scroll down until you see “Additional rules for your availability”. After expanding this section, you’ll see the ‘Start time Increments’ section where you can adjust this for your event. Since there isn’t an option for 3 hours from the dropdown, you can select custom and then enter 3 hours. Once you have made this change, select ‘save and close’. If you navigate to your booking page, you will only see 9am as a bookable time slot. For any future events that are multiple hours, you can adjust the start time increments again to match the duration of the event.
I want to set up my Calendly where different events are hosted by different users, but I want all of the events to be accessible for clients to pick from on one page.
I manage a Calendly account for my team of four people (myself included). Whenever someone books, I manually assign them the booking in our Calendar. So say someone books our 30 minute meeting at 9 am, it wont let someone book our 60 minute Zoom at 9 am. Is there a setting I can change to make it so we can book different events at the same time? If they are different events then we should be allowed to do that.
I was wondering if there is a way that I can have all my client information populate into a separate document. Preferably a Google Sheet or something like that.
I need to be available for my clients on Zoom and Google Meet. Is there a way for me to have my clients have the option of whether they choose Zoom or Google Meet?
As a business owner, I often conduct both one-on-one meetings and group events. How can I leverage Calendly to offer these distinct scheduling options and manage them efficiently?
It’s not the world’s fanciest tip + trick - I know! - but it’s an important one. And I guess a bit of life advice too? It’s alright to not be available all the time… especially when you’re giving your time up for free. For me, this is super important when it comes to networking. I love connecting with industry peers, but it’s important to me that work and life get first dibs on my schedule. Networking will fit where it fits!To make this happen with Calendly, I use a 1:1 event type that uses my calendar availability and a super slimmed down availability. In my case, this looks like nixing Mondays, Fridays, any time before 9am and anytime after 4pm. Mondays are just too busy. Fridays are for focus. My mornings are for triage and later in the day is for wrapping things up.I also have workflows setup to remind participants 24 hours before and automatically thank them for meeting after as well. This helps ensure participants remember to show up and also gives them a chance to follow up after
