How Do I...?

Example: client asks me by email if we can meet later today. I want to be able to create the meeting so that the client doesn’t need to do anything. But I have buffers which will prevent a meeting being booked same day. So currently I have to go and edit the event type to remove the buffers, then book the meeting, then go and re-add the buffers.I’d love it if I could choose to override the buffers when I create a meeting on behalf of clients.Calendly simplifies the whole process of booking a meeting so I really want to be able to use it for all meetings, not just ones that clients book far in advance.Perhaps what I’m asking for is possible but I haven’t figured out how to do it yet?

I want to set up a collective event type where I have one host that always attends and then it rotates through two other hosts each time. Basically I want to be on each panel and for Calendly to choose two other hosts for the event from the round robin pool (and not just one). Is it possible to edit the number of hosts chosen from the pool?

I am the account manager for our Calendly account - I have 6 colleagues who sometimes I need to reschedule Calendly bookings with and we also have a “round robin” set up.When a client originally books a Calendly appointment, this goes into my colleagues’ diary but if I log in to reschedule (at their or the clients’ request) the updated appointment is not reflected in my colleagues diaries. I wondered if this was anything to do with Calendar Sync settings in the Connected Calendars sections so I checked and it is only my calendar which is connected - is this is the issue?  If so, does that mean they need to log in and sync their calendars because I don’t know their passwords?Any help or advice would be appreciated. I’ve been using Calendly for some time, and in the last 24 hours noticed that when meetings are arranged, and accepted, they don’t transfer into either my diary (user/account holder) or the attendee’s diary.  Essentially everyone accepts, but the meeting doesn’t appear in anyone’s diary.I haven’t changed any settings - so does anyone have any idea what to do?

Recently the Chrome extension was updated which changed the UI. Because I’m not very happy with the changes I’d like to share my thoughts here.the “sidebar” doesn’t work well when you have more than three meeting templates. Clicking on the “Share Availability” button the dropdown disappears behind the container: Also note that the icons are cut off at the bottom. Not So nice… When I’m done copying the meeting link I now have to click on the X in the top right-hand corner to hide the “sidebar”. With the previous implementation this wasn’t necessary because it closed a soon as I clicked elsewhere. All in all changes that do not improve the UX, to the contrary. Or maybe others are happy with these changes?

HELP! I’ve sent out meeting poll invites and went back in to Calendly to delete meeting spots held for the next morning when no one responded. Since I did this ALL reserved meeting times have disappeared from my Outlook calendar and I’m afraid someone will now be able to overbook and steal the time slot(s) reserved for my very important meeting.

Hi, we are thinking about using Calendly for the website of our spa business. I have played around with the free version a little bit and so far I like it.  We have two slightly different usecases for it, but we only want to use the inline embed functionality (on a wordpress site). Here are the use cases:On each service landing page, we would like to embed the calendar (i.e. the event type landing page, or whatever it’s called).  We also have a dedicated booking page which basically has again all services listed plus the booking calendar for all of them.We would be fine to just embed all event types as single items for both cases (as I’m not so sure whether the actual booking landing page is really helping us in terms of UX etc.).  Now the questions:We have various service providers with various availabilities providing our services. In my schedule, I want to display the invite details form first. After filling out the form, I want to show the calendar. Is there a way to do that? I just want to change the order of things on the Calendly event page.

We have two meeting types setup - one is a group meeting type and the other is a one-to-one.We are wanting people to be able to book into the group meeting as well as the on-to-one on the same day/time but whenever someone is booked into the group, it blocks out the ability to book into the one-to-one.Is there a workaround for this?

Hi- my calendly is working fine- but when I open a meeting it has scheduled in teams- I have to go into the event in Teams calendar and choose “online meeting” myself- which then has to update to the other participants. Is there a way to just have this choice made before they schedule with me- so they are not getting multiple emails?

How can we connect the tiktok pixel with calendly to be able to track events? Specially if its web embed.

We use Calendly for appointments made by external users and use our Outlook calendar to see events. It would be helpful to send a list of events including the person’s name and company to our front desk person who greets the visitors when they arrive.  Is there anyway to do this?Thanks!

I would like to print the scheduled events page. I am using this for a bike shop schedule and I don’t want bike grease all over my electronics, thus I need paper. I’ve tried using the browser Print from Chrome, Safari, Edge, Duck Duck Go, but the results are all bad.Thanks.

From the Scheduled Events page, I can Export a CSV. Unfortunately, it includes many columns I do not want to see. I can hide them in my spreadsheet program, but this is very inconvenient as I do this operation frequently, having to hide unwanted columns every time. How can I avoid all the unwanted data, for example all the UTM columns? Thanks.

I have carefully made certain settings in Zoom my standard, one of which is NO WAITING ROOM. Always passcode. however, every Zoom created by Calendly has Waiting Room turned on. Why aren’t my existing standards being applied and how how do I fix it please?Thank you

Hello! We use the Salesforce integration, and our team wants to track how many events are scheduled by our sales assistants on behalf of other sales reps. Is it possible for me to access that information through the integration? Ideally, I’d like for the Event record in SF to show the sales rep who hosted the event as the “Assigned To”/owner (which seems to be the default in the flow template), while being able to map the name of the assistant who actually scheduled the event to a custom field on the record. I see the “Event Primary Publisher” name and email fields on the CalendlyAction object, but it seems like that will always represent the host, whose calendar the assistant scheduled the event on, rather than the assistant’s information. Is there a field I’m overlooking on the CalendlyAction object? I’m open to creative workarounds too! 

My events all have 15 minute buffers afterwards.  While Calendly recognizes the buffers, my Google Calendar does not.  Thus, coworkers looking at my calendar think I am free at that time.  Is there a way to have the buffer time added to the host’s calendars, while leaving it off the invitee’s calendars?
