I love using Calendly, and I appreciate how it streamlines scheduling. However, I’d like to suggest an improvement to the availability logic. Currently, Calendly allows for buffer times before or after meetings, but this doesn’t fully solve my use case. Here’s the issue:• I often have back-to-back meetings (e.g., two 1.5-hour meetings) with a short break in between (e.g., 30 minutes).• Calendly treats this break as available time for booking, which can result in an unintended “marathon” of meetings without a real break.• If I enable buffers, they apply uniformly to all meetings, which isn’t ideal because I do want some meetings to be scheduled back-to-back—just not indefinitely. Feature Request:Introduce a rule that prevents additional bookings if they would create a continuous block of meetings exceeding a set duration (e.g., 1.5 hours). How do I create a meeting type that only offers times that are available on my calendar, as well as on my team member's calendar?  She already connected her calendar to Calendly, but now I need to reference it for one particular meeting type.  These meetings are offered to our clients so that my team member and I can both meet with a client at the same time.  

Hello,I am interested to know how to setup my new account, and to which plan should i upgrade.We have counseling clinic and we have consultants who work with us, the consultants will have their calendar linked to us, so we can have their availability, and they can get their schedule ones someone booked. Do we need an account with few seats or 1 seat only?  Also, Do we need to provide an access for each consultant or we just need to link their calendar to our account in order for us to confirm counseling with them? Can we have different prices for each consultant or we need different even for each?

Hello!I have a workflow that sends a custom email notification to users right after they cancel a booking, and I noticed that users are also getting this Cancellation Notification when they reschedule.This is causing a lot of problems, because my Cancellation Notification says something like “we reviewed your application and cannot help you”, so when someone reschedules and gets this message gets confused and sometimes even offended.I get that a Reschedule is a Cancellation + New Booking, but I don’t understand why Calendly works this way. There is a “Right after an event is rescheduled” trigger in case I want to send a specific notification for that, so I don’t know why Calendly sends a different notification.Anybody could clarify? In Calendly, when I connect my Zoom integration and then want to connect a different email address to both Zoom and Calendly, I disconnect the current integration. However, when I click 'connect' again, it automatically connects the email address that is logged into my Zoom account. Shouldn't it ask me which email address I want to connect (like Google meet integration)? Is there any way you can help me with this?

Wondering if there is a way for me to offer specific location options for each day in an event.  For example, on Monday I want only Zoom to be available as a location option and on Tuesday I would like In Person and Zoom meetings to be available, all within the same event. How can I do this without creating separate events? I work at two locations, only one venue I can see clients in person, the other I cannot.  Someone asked this question about 12 months ago and it wasn't possible….hoping there has been an upgrade as seems it wouldn't be that uncommon. 

Hi! I provide two different types of “camps” for my clients, one that is either 2 hours or 3 hours depending on what it is they want to work on. I offer these on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The problem I am running into is that if a 2 hour event is booked on a Tuesday, clients can still book a 3 hour camp that same day. I don’t want this to be a possibility. I am wondering if there is a way for me to override the option for clients to book both separate events on one day without me going in and changing the availability? If there is an option like “if anything booked with ‘camp’ in the name is on that day then nothing else with ‘camp’ in the name is allowed to be booked” to still allow flexibility for my clients without extra backend work on my part? I just set up Calendly, great service!How can I ensure that only specific individuals or groups I approve are able to schedule a meeting with me, while preventing others from accessing my calendar or booking time with me without my permission? What settings or tools can I use to control and restrict access to my scheduling system, and how can I manage permissions to allow only selected people to book meetings with me?  

We work on flexible schedules where we have the power of definition for meeting times and are looking for the ability to create time windows that meetings can take place.

I have searched for my question but can’t find any answers to what I specifically need.  I have my appointments set up for specific days and times.  Not all day every day.  I let my clients know  ‘if these days and times don’t work, shoot me two times that do, and I will check my calendar.’  So sometimes I am available for a call at a time that is not set up in Calendly. Every now and then I get a client who schedules a call, and we need to change the date and time to one that is not set up in Calendly.   Is there a way I can go in and change the appointment time in Calendly to a day and time I don’t have on my schedule?  Like a manual override for that?  It would be so nice if I could go into the scheduled appointment, and it let me Customize the date and time, I need to change it to. I also have workflows for reminders set up so I would like to keep that to the changed timeline as well.   I am able to reschedule easily on my Google calendar and send a notification from there- but the

My clients and I are in different time zones. It seems that they can book in their time zones most of the time but some are receiving the confirmation in another time zone and this creates a lot of confusion.  I have tried contacting the help center but it is useless.  I’m not sure what hours it is staffed but I have been waiting to connect to an agent for 2 days now.Any thoughts?

This is very formal and is more commonly used in the old economy. As a coach, I like to give my clients links to schedule their purchased calls using links that expire as a way to enforce the number of sessions purchased. For example, if they purchased three sessions, I like giving them three unique links via email. Once they’ve used them all - they can’t schedule more.However, this gets pretty tedious. Are there any plans to make it possible to generate/fetch these expirable links via Zapier? That would be a sweet way for me to do it.

How do I stop Calendly from adding appointments to your iPhone calendar. I use my laptop to manage meetings. Calendly ChatBot was no help. Chat agent wanted access to my computer. Per AI search suggestions, I navigated to settings > availablity … but “manage Calendars” was not there. Any step by step instructions?

Hey there, is there a way to use the buffer feature (great) but without showing these 30m buffers before and after the meeting in my calendar? 

I have several recurring blocks on my Google Calendar for focus time (using Google Calendar’s special “focus time” event type)There are certain types of events though that I’d like to be able to enable to ignore focus time blocks in their availability.  My example use case is that I have large blocks on two days per week for coding. I’m marked as “busy” during these times because I do not want normal meetings getting scheduled either through calendly or google calendar. I want my team members to be able to book pair coding sessions with me during this time through calendly while still respecting any non-focus-time events booked during these times that limit my availability.Such a feature would be useful in many cases where people want to block off focus time for certain types of activities and offer special-purpose booking links related to that activity.It would not be necessary for this feature to be granular at all, it would be sufficient to just have an “ignore focus time” checkbox

I am booking lessons for candidates, and I would like to run some group sessions at specific times. While I can set up the group session, it does not reserve a slot in my Outlook diary unless someone books in to take the lesson (which they won’t do until I send out the link at a specific time each week). However, I also run multiple different types of 1:1 sessions, which are open for candidates to book at any time free in my calendar, and until someone books a slot in the group session, candidates see the time where the group slot would be in my diary as free, and they book in their 1:1 sessions over the top of it.Can I set the group sessions to “hold/reserve” a place in my diary, without someone booking in first? Otherwise, my 1:1 candidates book out all the times, and then I cannot run the group sessions I have planned, or I have to manually set dozens of different availability hours in my sessions, which can become incredibly confusing for me to keep track of.
