We have 5 event types that our primary customer can schedule. It is not unusual for a customer to accidentally book the wrong type of event. We do not know this happens until we are in the scheduled call with them. It seems as though we cannot change the event type for a meeting that has been scheduled. The only work around for this we can find is to create a new meeting under the new event type and copy and past the information from the old meeting and then delete the old meeting. However, when we’ve tried this people miss the new invite and in turn miss their meeting. We’ve also tried renaming our event types to be more clear, but that hasn’t helped either. We use the even type for analysis of our customer onboarding process, so capturing the correct event type is helpful for us internally. Is there a way to do this and we’re missing it? If not, it would be very useful for us to be able to change a meeting from one event type to another already created event type.
How do I integrate my iPhone calendar to my Calendly account?
Hi there, we have set up our calendal account for scheduling with our clients. Calendly is connected to our official email address that was set up by our CEO. When a client now schedules an appointment the automated emails that get send out always gets send out under his name. And we don't understand why. Our profile name is the company name and we never entered his name anywhere. What can we do?
Hi, I'm currently experiencing error when trying to complete new bookings via the Calendly App, after entering all the require information & selecting Schedule Meeting. Web version is working ok, but difficult to use on a mobile phone. I attach a screenshot. Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks, Laura
I would like to know if there is a way to create a meeting or calendar event without it affecting my availability on the calendar.I will be working at a law firm and need to track various deadlines, such as discovery deadlines, motion deadlines, and other important case-related dates. My goal is to create these as calendar events that can trigger automated reminders or workflows, such as sending text messages to me and my attorney. However, I do not want these deadline reminders to block time on my calendar or make me appear unavailable for scheduling client meetings or other appointments. I would like them to function as reminders only while still appearing on the calendar.
With a recent update of the Calendly website, I’ve lost the ability to share rescheduling links with our clients. (It seems it is still possible in the iOS app). I rely heavily on this feature. Here are steps to reproduce:In a web browser, navigate to a scheduled event on the “Meetings” page. Click the “Reschedule” button in the event details pane which pops up on the right. A dialog appears asking if you want to “Share times to meet” or “Reschedule meeting now.”Previously, I would choose “Reschedule meeting now” and then copy the URL from the browser. This URL would take a form like https://calendly.com/reschedulings/{{reschedule-uuid}} I could paste this into my own email communication or text message with the client so they could easily reschedule. However, now the URL is of a page that requires me to be logged in and cannot be shared with the client. See the attached screenshot which shows that page and its URL. The URL is of the formhttps://calendly.com/app/meetings/user/me?selecte
With the new updates, the option to copy the reschedule link for an individual event from the reschedule page (Click on event → select reschedule→ select reschedule now) has disappeared. Chatbot confirmed it and a support person confirmed it. Chatbot mentioned that this could be done via the reschedule link in the email or calendar event the invitee received, but as the admin, I don’t have access to those. The chatbot mentioned that you could recreate this link by using API or Webhooks to grab the Event ID And Invitee ID. That’s a bit above my tech level - has anyone else run into this and developed a workaround? We have Zapier and I can stumble my way through that as well. I do recognize canceling and providing them with the standard scheduling link is always a possibility, but I dislike the customer service optics of them potentially receiving the cancelation notice through their calendar before they see the email requesting a reschedule.
Hi,Needing major help or major double booking imminent. What shows on my end re availability, shows differently when someone books. Looks like availability for 2 events is flipped.
Round robin event types do not currently allow for multiple locations, as is the case in one-on-one events. I’d like to request a new flow that will accommodate multiple locations per host in a round robin event type. The new flow (from the end user perspective) should include:User selects their desired date/time Calendly will assign a host User then selects their desired meeting location Booking confirmation The hosts should be able to set multiple locations, and each hosts selections can be different.
I love the option of having different durations of the one meeting - it allows my team to choose different times depending on how much time the estimate the query requires. But it is not easy to find and often the wrong duration is selected. And it then can’t be changed without cancelling and rebooking (if I can ask for two things at once, please make the duration editable after booking).
Bonjour, je rencontre actuellement le même problème, que Damien. Le problème persiste même après le nettoyage recommandé. Comme résoudre cela ?
Hi, Along with my previous question about re-confirmations - The meetings view in Calendly has changed so it is not obvious which clients have re-confirmed their attendance or not. This means our team needs to manual click through every meeting to ensure clients have confirmed or not to work out who we need to call and manually confirm their attendance. Can you please re-instate a visual cue for this?
Can meeting notes be auto added to contacts with the relevant meeting added as a tag or something so that we can get a better overview of the client relationship history? Some meetings lead to other meetings and over time notes from each meeting become harder and harder to find - but if meeting notes to auto added to the client it would be a simple matter to open the contact and catch-up on where they were at the last meeting and be best prepared for the next one. Does this query make sense? Not sure I’m in the right category for this question either...Really hope this is something that can be done within Calendly.
Hi thereI noticed that there is a location add option on the client profile, but it doesn’t work or let me add one….can you tell me what I am doing wrong, because I need to save my client’s location for repeat business.
Hello,I recently upgraded to the Standard plan and have been setting up Calendly for my coaching and therapy practice in the Netherlands. So far, I am very happy with the functionality, workflows, and booking experience. However, I noticed that many parts of the booking page and user interface are only available in English (for example “Select a Day” and “Show More”).Are there any plans to offer full Dutch language support for the booking pages and scheduling experience in the future?I believe this would be a valuable addition for many Dutch-speaking users and businesses, as it would create a more professional and seamless experience for clients.Thank you for your help, and I look forward to hearing if Dutch language support is on the roadmap.Kind regards, Lydia
Disable Basic Notification Emails When Using Custom Workflow EmailsI have created my own confirmation and reminder emails through workflows, but Calendly is still sending the default Basic Notification emails, resulting in duplicate emails being sent to invitees. I noticed that some Basic Notifications, such as Email Reminders, can be turned off, but Email Confirmation and Email Cancellation do not appear to have an option to disable them. Is it possible to completely disable these Basic Notification emails and only use custom workflow emails instead? Thank you!Kind regards, Lydia
A lot of job interview scams are happening on linkedin, I recently received a legit looking calendly link. However on booking a slot, it asked me for an OTP, i submitted the OTP, is it normal or SUS. this is the title of the mail: Your verification code to finish bookingsender:
It would boost efficiencies in a big way for our users if they could save a Meeting Poll template (like other event templates) with the host name, location and other static variables filled in. As often as they would like to use this feature, they find it too cumbersome. Alternatively, if they could duplicate the last one they sent (and change up the dates, etc.) that would be helpful.
I’m having two issues with rescheduling: When I go to reschedule on behalf of a client there’s no option to override available times as there is when I book a new meeting. I can share a rescheduling link with a client via the IOS app. But can’t find a way to do it on the web. Both these things seem like basic bits of functionality that are missing, and make using calendly less than optimal. It’s also pretty annoying that you can view upcoming meeting with a contact through that tab. But you have to go to the meetings tab to actually manage/edit the meeting. It would be great if this informed future updates.
Hi,I have been able to reschedule one appointment, however, I need to reschedule the same appointment again using the ‘override’ option (which I’ve previously been able to use to override my synced google calendar), and the override option is now not appearing like it did previously (I would need the override option available as I sometimes need to book clients in during times that are not shown as available).I then tried moving the appointment within my google calendar, however, it did not override in Calendly.I’d be ever so grateful for any feedback on how I can achieve this. Thanks in advance :-)
I have a 3 day minimum notice set up which works great for when my clients book a meeting with me. However, sometimes I need to make a last minute change and need to reschedule the meeting for an hour later or the next day. Even though I am logged in as an admin when I click “reschedule” I am only allowed to move the meeting to minumum 3 days later and I cannot move it to ie. a different time same day.Is it possible to skip the minimum notice as a admin/team member and only have the minimum notice set up for when a client (unlogged person) tries to book the meetings?
My google calendar is linked but not all events are updating to my Calendly meetings and availability causing me to have double-bookings when I or someone wants to schedule a meeting with me.
Hi All - instead of providing a calendly link, how can i propose times like this screenshot?
I’m just now discovering the “Meeting Packages” in the new “Payments” Section. It’s really great to see this ability now available on Calendly and means many users no longer have to use slow manual workarounds instead e.g. creating duplicates of events for packages, forcing recipients to repeat the booking process multiple times in a row.I use PayPal but unfortunately Stripe is the only available payment option for these abilities at the moment: Will PayPal also be added as a payment option here and if so, when?(The Coupon codes are also a great addition but also a Stripe-only unfortunately)Thanks in advance!
